The whole vrishaketu think is picked up from Jamini's Mahabharat.Mahabharat written by vyasa's disciple.Only Ahwmedha parva of the MB has survived in that Virshasketu is Karna's only surviving son and it is Yudhishtir not Arjuna who offers Vrishasketu the throne but he refuses the throne and probably the same will happen here.But yes Arjuna does take him under his wing and loves him as a son
So much melodrama today.The funniest scene was when karna says 'mere priy anujun' and all panadavs are standing in a line with joined hands 😆 seemed so OTT
I have always wanted to see panadavs and karna reconciling even though it doesn't happen in the epic until they all die and go to the heaven but the way CV's are showing it is too unnatural and illogical
Regarding dury's anger in the epic he never comes to know the truth but in Ramesh Menon's retelling he does and is heartbroken after he realizes that karna fought with his own brother's for dury's sake.His respect for karna increases manifolds after knowing the truth
but i can understand dury's reaction today although calling karna a sutputra is taking things too far but if dury would have found out that karna spared lives of 4 panadvs especially yudhishtir he would have definitely been very angry.Karna didnt only spare yudi's life but didn't even capture him when he could .Karna could have ended the war by capturing yudi when he had the chance but instead he let yudi go.So certainly if dury would have realized that he would have been pissed
