Today's episode was utter rubbish, yet again.

I just hate this bonding between Jyesth Brata and "Priya" Arjun.
I also hated the Pranam scene. It just doesn't suit the occasion.
I am sure, the Pandavas were upset, after hearing of Karna's true lineage, but this whole melodrama is too much.
At first, I didn't like the whole Kunti singing part. However, when she said "Suraj Chhup Gaya Hain" , and Karna shut his eyes forever, I really felt bad for Karna.
I know that this whole Arjun doing Karna's last rites seems too much, but I think it's better than Yuyutsu doing it.
But I think, Duryodhan should have been given the right.
And I don't like how Vrushali got the last chance to be close to Karna.
All those people, who never knew Karna as their family did so much drama, but the woman, who was Karna's better half, was not given enough chance...I didn't like it AT ALL.
Duryodhan's outburst was justified.
I know that there many people who love Duryodhan and Karna's friendship, but I think, that if the real Duryodhan had come to know of Karna's true lineage, then he would have felt the same.
Now, we will have Shakuni and Lord Krishna playing dice.
I wonder, when they got the time, amidst so much destruction.

This is how lies/distortions play out- Like double edged sword, it cuts both way. Be it positive one or negative ones. Once they decided exploit and unleash emotional melodrama- in premature revelation by very 17th day- they can't do anything about other side.Dury gets to know the truth. On top of all, in this script the friend who was supposed to destroy the enemy, is asking the same enemy to do honour of his funeral!! Now which friend would not feel cheated? Now what else could Cvs write on Dury- 'logically' speaking? Thus goes celebrated friendship massacred.

It only shows, how neatly Ved Vyas has woven all the threads in a great tapestry. The revelation' occurred only after both friends were long gone. And no unnecessary 'massacre' of the friendship.
If only someday we may have an exact rendition! The project would be incomparable.

exactly, no matter how the sceane was portrayed, the revelation was extreamly premature, even dury got to know it after karna's death from pitamah in brc, but, let's put that aside and enjoy krishna's chal/ leelaa.

After watching today's episode, I'm convinced about two things:

1. India is the Diabetes capital of the world. Where else would we find such a syrupy, sugary, chaashnee se bhara part? I guess TRP audience likes this kind of stuff even if it's a major major distortion and makes Karna look like maha nayak of Mahabharat and Kunti the epitome of maternal love.

2. For the Pandavs, in their hierarchy of priorities:

mata>bhrata>children>patni

Mata and bhrata ke sau khoon aur sau paap maaf hain...

Poor Dury...couldn't even do the cremation of his 'traitor' friend. Again a distortion because as far as I recall, Dury had great respect for Karna even after he found out the truth about his relationship with Pandavs.

Now I just don't want to see Draupadi regret after she finds out about Karna's death. Just don't show her reacting please...

I was crying during today's episode as well 😭 all due to brilliant portayal by Ahem and Arpit ...

So ⭐️ Dury feels cheated , hmm there is a pinch of truth in that as well...
considering ⭐️ Karn.

Really what pressure poor epic Karn would have gone through .. He was made so majboor due to the selfish deeds of Kunti ...

I dont know why but I am feeling sorry for Duryodhan 😭

I feel saari fasad ki jad Kunti hai ... if she would have asked her sons not to raise claim for the throne , then these could have been avoided .. but she was power hungry ...

I'm posting this from RM version...

The Kuru patriarch tells Duryodhana how, just before the war, Kunti went to her firstborn son and begged him to join his brothers' army, as their king. Bheeshma tells Duryodhana what Karna's answer had been. I will never abandon Duryodhana. He is the only one who ever loved me and I love him more than my life.' Duryodhana listens to him in silence, his tears dripping onto the old man's hands. Bheeshma falls silent. Duryodhana says, "He knew and he still stayed with me. He died by his own brother's hand for my sake, because he loved me so much. Why am I not dead? Why doesn't this heartless earth open and swallow me for what I have done?" Duryodhana whispers feverishly, "Karna, my friend, there is nothing left to live for when you are gone. Not now, that I know how you loved me: more than I had dreamt . I am coming to you soon, my brother, very soon." Bheeshma says, "Karna was the noblest man that lived in our times and he has found the heaven he deserves." Duryodhana says quietly, "Nothing can hurt me now that I have heard who my Karna was and what he did for me. Pitama, I do not want the kingdom any more, for which this war is being fought. Now that Karna is not here, with whom I can share it, I don't want it at all. I want nothing but to die and I will die a noble death. You will see, Pitama, how this grandson of yours dies. You will be proud of me.

Revealation of Karna's birth to Duryodhan is not a problem provided they had depicted a genuine bond between them. ⭐️Duryodhan has always been an opportunist and treated everyone else as servant. In BRC and Ramesh Menon's work Duryodhan gets to know of Karna's birth as well, but that only deepens his respect for his friend several times over, because in both of these works their friendship is genuine.

Here it really doesn't bother me if Duryodhan insults Karna because their relationship was always hollow and one sided to begin with. He insulted Karna on many occassions even when he was alive and loyal. So it really doesn't make much difference. In fact I would be surprised if he had NOT behaved that way.
