@square bracketed - LOL...do they think SOME COSTAR may harm the Indian men thinking. I mean really if Pooja and SOME COSTAR come close do you think they can ( cough) ,you know what isn't it?

Hi everyone

Draupadi and Kunti had very similar stories in many ways:

1. Both had 'unconventional' marriages- Draupadi was thrust with polyandry while Kunti was married to an impotent man (which she was unaware of till she married him)

2. Both spent considerable time in exile with their spouses

3. Both lived without their sons/kids for quite some time

4. Both were queens but lived like ascetics for a large part of their lives

5. While Kunti bore powerful warriors as sons through niyoga (hence multiple partners), Draupadi gave birth to power warriors through her polyandrous marriage.

6. Both were very strong women and committed to their dharma and their husbands.

7. Both had to endure the wrath of society. Kunti for being a unwed mother (although she hid the truth for a long time but when she revealed it to her sons, Yudi was very unhappy with his mom). Draupadi, of course was called names for being married to multiple men.

Who except me would understand how much the pain of the forest exile would be increased by the absence of the children? If anyone could understand , it was ma Kunti.
