The scorching summer is showing no signs of abating,
Water scarcity and power cuts have become permanent
and the Monsoon has hardly set in...
The Met Office has predicted a less-than-usual monsoon this year...triggering fears of a drought like situation. Rains mean everything in a country like India.
In a hope to ensure full strength monsoon this year I request fellow members who read this to chant the following sloka as many times as possible each day.
Kale varshathu parjanya,
Prithivi sasya shalini,
Deso yam kshobha rahitha,
SAjjana santhu nirbhaya.
Let the monsoon be timely and plentiful,
Let earth be covered with vegetation,
Let the country live without problems,
And let good people never have fear.
