I think so too. Even if his father was posthumously declared a kshatriya, nothing could change the fact that his mother had to be a suta, since Karna never married a kshatrani. So Vrishaketu would have been in an identical situation as Vidura.

In which case, Yudisthir could have made him one of his ministers, particularly once Vidura left w/ Dhritarashtra & Gandhari into exile.

The only account about him, afaik, is Jainemaya. Does he mention anything?

Since Karna was born in Kuntibhoj's kingdom and the latter had no survivors, by the look of it, that would have been the ideal kingdom for Vrishaketu to succeed as king. Other than that, why forget Anga - would that have been lost to Karna's family as a result of the war? Particularly given Kunti's revelation?

I wanna know if Jaimini narrated Mahabharata to Janamejaya under Vyasa's supervision or not.. Janamejaya seems to behave like a little kid, listening to the same story again n again 😆
