ofcourse Yudi ws totally wrong that day and so were all... draupadi very rightly said in ⭐️Bharat to them... ki aap vastavik dharma samajh hi nahi paye...i was talking about as you said personal dharma.. this personal dharma for us.. this defination of what should be priortize..for example Bheeshma - for him following his oath was his dharma which he gave so much importance too.. but this dharma of his when viewed with context of war is termed to be adharma right with his fighting for duryodhana.
Red - Exactly why I want Krishna to talk about swadharma today...
Under what situations can swadharma become adharma?
I'd go with the first one because the second point is just an interpretation based upon the popular belief that he took a pledge to protect the throne. Whereas this popular pledge is truly non-existent in the texts.Originally posted by: ThePirateKing
I guess it might be actually the same with Tamas being more milder. A lot of people interpret Krishna's act of breaking his vow and picking up a weapon against Bheeshma as 1. As a matter of respect for Bheeshma (highlighting the high soul that he was) 2. To show that vows should not be set in stone and if need be have to be broken
