Excellent post...! 👏
An ignorant man can never be explained regardless of who attempts to do so as the ignorance lies deep in their inner. Lord Krishna is the best example to prove that even gods are bound in the chain of Karma, they too are Karmayogi.
The last week has been dedicated to the peace negotiation track on SP's Mahabharat. I've loved all the episodes last week as it's a very important part of this story. A lot of people feel that MB was a saga about war and vengeance. MB, IMO, in reality is a tale about the importance of peace and not war. That's why I'm happy SP spent considerable time of this whole track.
Lessons learnt from this track:1. Even God is not exempt from being a karmyogi. While leaving for HP, Krishna was well aware of the futility of his trip. He knew the war was inevitable but just like a true karmyogi, he left no stone unturned to negotiate peace. As they say, he used saam, daam, dand and bhed to negotiate a peaceful settlement. We mortals can learn a lot from his actions. Even if the outcome is known, one has to put all our efforts in the actions. Krishna never wavered from his karma.2. A person who's not ready to be enlightened can never be forced by another person. For that matter, even God can't enlighten a person who chooses to stay ignorant. Dury and Dhrit are prime examples here.3. Any war fought without giving peace a fair trial can never be justified. It shows us what happens when peace is not given a chance. The consequences of war are always devastating, for both parties. Our leaders can learn a lot from this this track.4. Of course, we also got a glimpse of what Gita preaches- anger, greed, arrogance, personal ego, ignorance, misplaced loyalties, attachment are our biggest enemies. They just lead to destruction.
