@thearcher, karna, what can i say about him? in the epic he was involved in every conspiracy against pandavs, but i think he also had the slietest idea about the truth about krishna, still he thaught that supporting duryodhan was dharma. and i am not even mentioning the situation portrayed in starbharat.

The treatment of karna bothers me a lot. I wish Krishna had atleast alluded to karna's part in the vastraharan . He wasn't all great and white. It's the one thing that actually stops me from liking him. He actively participated in it, called draupadi a wh**e and prostitute and said she was clearly not deserving of being the kulvadhu. And this in SB. In the original he instigated the vastraharan. And yet Krishna is shown so sympathetic to him as of he had absolutely no part and was a innocent spectator. It doesn't go with SB because they've shown Krihna very pro sakhi :) and he has taunted and chided everyone who was responsible in certain degrees. Why should Karna be any different!! I wish that they atleast show kriahna mentioning karna part in it or karna's guilt if they wish to continue their whole "I'm following my friend dury and that's why I must do these despicable acts and speak such vile words !!" 😡

Cmon, dont over-exaggerate it, he wasn't really a part of every 'conspiracy'. Karna had a debt with Duryodhana and he paid it back through his death, if you read his conversations, he was quite sure about Krishna's identity.

ok, he was part of the vaarnavart and dyutsabha conspiracy, and indeed he was just paying duryodhan's debt, but he could have saved duryodhan if he helped him to be a good man.

Karna's whitewashing is making him appear more confused. He wasn't as conflicted as they have made him appear here. He was the instigator of VH and more of a party in numerous plots - lets not forget the hunting trip the Star CVs have eliminated. Also Karna craved the opportunity to show himself superior to Arjuna. That other than his friendship was a motivator for him to side with Suryodhana. Where he became actually conflicted was upon learning that Pandava were his brothers. There loyalty to Dury partially trumphed brotherly love... still IMO he betrayed Dury via his promise to Kunti (5 sons will exist at the end and your count will be same). Really, Karna? He might as well as waved a WHITE flag... so long as YUDHI not Arjuna lived it meant Dury's defeat.

agree anjana, infact in trying to whitewash they have made them weaker. I really donot like karna arjuna characterization! oh forget I don't like anyone characterization except dhrit (as I hate him, so his characterization is apt for me)

@Srishti - don't get me started on MahaNayak's characterization... they melded him with Bhim and Yuddhistir and then there is the KaJu factor which cracks me up.

they have seriously glossed over his archery skills and made him serial hero (who is weak 👎🏼 in all sp serials). I highly dislike this
