This is what I know.

So taking prisoner was not breaching any protocol written on paper to be honest. But yeah, considering the gravity of the situation, and when krishna came as a messenger , both sides had gathered considerable strength. Given the premise of bloody war and loss of lives of more than one kingdom, His Peace Brokering had a separate level of significance.

I loved the episode

My fav line: Krishna to Karna- tumhara saamarth hi Duryodhan ke adharm ka aadhaar hai.

Krishna tried all angles. No one can say he didn't bargain for peace. Duryodhan's arrogance is now at it's peak. He has completely lost it. Vinaash kale vipreet buddhi. By chaining Krishna, he has now reached a point of no return- has dug his grave so deep that there is no escape for him.

Krishna spared the poor soldiers from committing an adharm. Shows how generous God is. Apne paapon ka bhaar apne sainikon se mat uthwao Duryodhan. Very symbolic and wonderful line.

The pre cap looks like a bad dream for Dury.

CVs are still confused about Karna. He swings like a pendulum. I'm not sure if he ever objected to the plan of capturing Krishna.

wow seems like flood came in EDT. last one is finished so fast.
really good episode except krishna imprisonment part.srj was really good though for the first I kinda hear a voice change in usual calm tone of srj. his smile, anger was different. dury is fully black and fully arrogant guy. shuku mama was not so much scared today.
last part was confusing. may b dury was seeing his future. since when he became worthy of krishna cosmic avatar?

As for citations--whats wrong with citing? if sharing books and written work is misconstrued then that is not my problem.

freedom of right, freedom of expression, freedom of choice, beliefs, religion, interpretation AND the amendments of the US constitution are mine to evoke as well.

SRJ rocked , he and arpit were the best today

arpit as the foolish , arrogant duri, nearing his death and SRJ in all his Krishna glory

BTW, I am not sure whether to laugh or cry at the way Karna has been turned into. All the while I was going whitewashing whitewashing, but this is worse. HE has been turned into a duri lackey. Duri publicly ignored his suggestion and insulted him by removing his hand.

More than all other logic, I am wondering, how will they explain Karna's logic at sticking to Duri here? He is nothing but a glorified doormat here. Wasn't 20+ yrs of service as lackey enough to repay his debt

[ In MB, Duri considered Karna's friendship purer and closer than even dushi, he had implicit trust in karna. After Karna died, he thought of leaving everything , the war and go away in penace, not to mention his overwhelming grief]

In the epic ( KMG), Duryodhana himself announced the capturing of Krishna, so no Pre-plotting was done and Karna was definitely not involved, but I am not sure if he protested.

I, seriously for one minute, thought that Duryodhana will push Karna into the ground like he did to Mamashree in IP.
