War Day 13

But, from time to time, I still like to remember the first time I looked into your eyes and saw my future there."

She was standing alone in a dark cave, she looked here & there trying to find someone who could lead her back to the camp, she started walking at a random direction " AARYA..." she called out but no answer. She looked here & there but not even a soul was there, then she saw a faint light coming from a corner, she breathed a sigh of relief she had found the exit, now she can go out & search for aarya, she was sure her aarya would be searching for her, but strange on the first place she doesn't even remember coming here. She started moving towards the source of light, she walked, climbed few stones, cleared the dry leaves from her way, & kept walking after some time she got tired but she didn't lose hope she kept on moving ahead, strange she thought she had been walking for sometime now but she hadn't reached the exit, but she could clearly see the light coming from the exit, whenever she thought she had reached the exit it would be miles away from her at one point of time she sat on a stone tired clutching her stomach & breathing heavily, that's when she heard the voice, the voice which she always adored, the voice with which she fell in love with the first time, the voice which she was craving for at that moment, " Uttara... " came her aarya's voice from behind her, she turned around smiling relief flooding through her very veins. " AARYA " she called out & started moving towards him, yet again it was like the cave entrance whenever she thought she reached her aarya she would find herself near the stone in which she sat. " Kya hua Uttara, aaj apnae aarya ke paas nahi aaogi?" her aarya asked her. He stood there with open arms waiting for her. Fear flooded through her very being "AARYA" she called out in fear & started running towards him, but again she never reached him, & then suddenly out of the blue a fire erupted around her aarya circling him, "AARYA hatiyae waha se aapkae charon aur aag lagi hai" she shouted to him but her aarya was in no mood of listening to her, she started running towards him, but he just stood there with open arms & a calm and a serene smile on his face, & then suddenly the fire engulfed him "AARYA" she screamed out.
Uttara woke up sweating, her eyes greated rising sun & she quickly shut her eyes, but the moment she closed her eyes the horrifying sight of her aarya getting burned came in front of her, she quickly opened her eyes again, she was in bed with her aarya. His hand protectively around her holding her tightly & close to him ( a war was going on, he was bound to be protective towards her, he won't believe anyone, especially at night ), her head was on his chest, she pressed her ears on his chest & listened attentively ...thump...thump...his heart beat...a sign of life, she breathed a sigh of relief. Tears started falling uncontrollably from her eyes. Her hand tightened around his waist & she started sobbing uncontrollably.
