I just hated the episode. Everything I liked about Draupadi just went thru a shredder 😡Draupadi suddenly out of nowhere grieves over the death in the war - her father, her sons (Abhi & Ghato), and no longer wishes to wash her hair in Dushy's blood. So what's the solution? Arjun points to Uttara - finally in widow beige - and asks her what if someone does her vh? Then we get a hallucination by Draupadi of Uttara being vh'ed by Dushy, Shakuni & Dury, and then Bhima comes to strengthen her resolve.Can this get stupider? (Don't answer that!!!) The reason Draupadi was vh'ed was that she was the pride of the Pandavas, and this was done to humiliate them. But Uttara is now a widow - and in those times, widows were regarded as tainted - nobody ever looked at them. Uttara was still valueable to the Pandavas since she was pregnant w/ Parikshit, but other than that, there was no reason anyone would ever go after her.
Draupadi's character butchering is now complete.
Then again, it is not entirely surprising.
Remember, she had once said,"A warrior should be scared of fighting war as war leads to loss of lives... " (yes, ⭐️Drau herself had said this, way back during the Khandavaprastha track).
When I said "Thank heavens for Arjun & Bhima", I meant that they (thankfully) made her see sense. I'm certainly not endorsing the "Uttara VH" example because that was just not needed...instead, Arjun could've simply asked her,"Will you keep your hair open forever?"
Besides the widowhood aspect, what made the "Uttara VH" example even worse was that the CVs chose to give the example of this girl who had been through so much loss herself during this war. So far, lost her bro, hubby, father in war...wasn't all that hard enough on Uttara already?
And get this - Even in the hallucination, it is the same people who do the VH...
I mean, if you show a separate person being VH'd, at least show someone else doing the VH, no?
