btw srj was brlliant yesterday. the way he sat in his chariot (like he no longer could stand) the sigh n expression on his face, after seeing the raksha kawach on the ground. also when he saw abhi & arjun hug. he was just brrilliant
Bold - In that case, Draupadi might as well be turned into Sita (which DID happen in ⭐️ when Jayadratha kidnapped her).
No disrespect intended towards Sita but Draupadi wasn't Sita.
IMHO Draupadi questioning the dyut sabha after she was dragged by her hair is what makes her different to Sita.
Coming to the sons - Abhi's death was NOT pre-planned in the epic.
In ⭐️, Ashwi has already voiced that he will kill the UpaPs - again, NOT pre-planned in the epic.
But loss of lives in any war is inevitable. And Kurukshetra was NO ordinary war.
Leave aside MB - Even in "Harry Potter", don't we see the "good" side suffering fatalities too?
Yes, Drau lost her sons.
But please note that she is actually remembered for her sense of justice, fiery boldness, and outspokenness, rather than being "a mother who lost all her sons".
Taking into account the "mother" argument, if Drau lost all her sons, so did Gandhari...and she (Gandhari) ended up cursing Krishna.
BTW, if someone like Draupadi is supposed to "forget about avenging her insult" simply because her sons would die, is there any hope left for an ordinary woman who gets abused?
