Couldn't they get a guy to play Shikhandi? That actress's voice is damn painful to my ears.

Btw, Star plus' theme is Rishta wohi soch nayi. So blackwashing Bheeshm is a part of this Nayi Soch. Hell yes! Kaliyuga ki soch..😆

Bold red@

Damn true!

that woman's voice is just high pitched...hate the way she shouts 😡🤢

Someone please explain to me how the ⭐️Pandavas will now win the war with only 2 akshauhinis remaining on their side...😕
How many days of the war covered in today's epi??? 😡

Yes, Bhishma was an extremely strong warrior, but it seems like a one-sided carnage of sorts...😕

And all 100 Kauravas STILL alive at this point???

Are the ⭐️Pandavas sleepwalking on the battlefield or something??? 😕

I think the other akshauhinis will magically reappear after Bhishma's fall... Can't expect 2 Akshauhinis to stand against 9 akshauhinis... At this rate Pandavas will lose tomorrow..
And then comes the Precap: Krishna is very good... but then WHAT do I see? Bhishma is holding an ARROW at KRISHNA? WHat in the blazing world is this? He was supposed to pray to Krishna, not get ready to fight him! 😡😡😡

I agree with what has been written regarding the chariots, but I do not completely agree with the statement that archers were 2nd or 3rd grade warriors.

The functions of archers as has been rightly mentioned was not hand-to-hand combat but for shock and awe/shoot and scoot tactics, but they were equally high in the pecking order along with swordsmen.

Forget MB, in the later times Romans, Persians, Greeks had all made requests to the Indian rulers for hiring Indian mercenaries to fight for them and their requests were almost exclusively for archers (on foot and on elephants). Indian longbow archers were among the most feared warriors back then.

Successes have always gone to the army that was best able to synergize the archers and the swords/spear men the best example being Chengiz Khan.

Hi you seem to be quite knowledgeable on military history. Could you give me a heads up on where I could start reading about it?

Yes, perhaps my wordings were wrong. What I meant to say that Archers were not real fighters. They were support warriors. Mongols did give huge importance to mounted archers, but Mongolian archers were light horsemen and their primary job was to scatter the enemy, while avoiding direct face off with enemy troops, making it easy for the lancers to cut them down. But no where did archers do the actual fighting, except for Indian epics. Paris, for instance, was a skilled archer and he killed Achilles and yet he's never considered much of a warrior compared to his brother Hector.

I do not not know about the technical details of archery, weaponry or other military tactics, but I have always wondered how 2 archers could fight the way they have shown in MB adaptations. How can 2 arrows heads meet in the air the way they show it?! Both your and pirateKings's posts now make some sense on what roles the archers might have played in war.

You have forgotten the power of United Airlines. Together the 5 brothers will conquer 9 akshauhinis just like mommy dearest suggested way back when.

At this point, I'm a bit curious how the Pandavas have lost 5 akshauhinis and the Kauravas have lost only 2. Bhishma is doing nothing but his fashion poses. Dury and co don't bother dealing with foot soldiers, Drona sometimes attacks but usually is checked by Dhristi, Drupi, or Arjun. Karna isn't there, StarAshwi alone cannot possess such skills to destroy such a large portion of the Pandava army. Hell, even logically that doesn't sound possible. If one soldier from the Pandavas can kill another soldier from the Kauravas, we can say that both there is a 1 to 1 ratio, which ends up being a 5 aksh (P) and 9 aksh (K) ... now, for 3 more akshs to be lost on the P side, and 0 more lost on the K side, one can only conclude that the tornado did some serious damage... but that wouldn't make sense because the tornado would also have to affect the soldiers on the K side as well (since the target of the tornado was the vajra vyuh...

... I give up ...

I ask again - The ⭐️Pandavas will ACTUALLY survive the remaining days of the war with ONLY 2 akshauhinis left?? 😕

I mean, Drona & Karna will be the next 2 Kaurava senapatis!!! And Karna will enter the battlefield on Day 11!!

Now, doesn't this now demean Drona & Karna as warriors that even when the ⭐️Pandavas had only TWO akshauhinis left, the Kauravas still managed to lose this war despite having Drona & Karna as senapatis?

If CVs want to state that "God's presence" is what really made the Pandavas victorious, then why did they even need allies in the first place to fight this war?
Only 5 Pandavas+Krishna+Shikhandi (for Bhishma)+Dhrishtadyumna (for Drona) would've been more than sufficient...as per the logic of the CVs.
