How did you manage to decipher the lyrics? I don't hear much of the words, just loud music.
And ya, I also have a doubt with the Sutasoma thing.
And do you know the Dharma sloka? Can't remember the lyrics. Not Dharme Cha Arthe Cha. The other one, with fast lyrics.

Lovely thread brish and Divya I don't think in Bheems shlok it was shruthsom as in draupadi's son...
It means suta somaapaharnishah... Something like one who conquered somas so that is Bheeem. Also Sruthsom was born after his victory over somas and hence named so...

I have listened to Arjun bgm for almost a 100 times now. And as i said before I was reading Nrisinghaprasad Bhaduri's books, and there I found the shloka used in the BGM and its meaning also. I felt so weird... they cant just pick up any shloka..
Bheem's BG I haven't heard many times I will hear it properly and tell you. I guess Frappie is right. That is not sruthosom as in Bheem's son.
I guess you are talking about SMitaha Smitaha now that is another VERY VERY weird story!

"Sadaiv Dharmaha Sudarmaha desh kaleja dushkritaha..Adharma ki tanghimsa dharmo kama smitaha smitaha..." are the lyrics.

After understanding the meaning, I am so badly confused because these are quotations. it means "I being a follower of dharma., will always have dharma established.. (I am not sure of the dushkrittaha part it surely emans somethign about destroying evil) ne who is a follower of adharma and ahimsa will not be blessed by dharma.

Strangely this shloka is played in StarB during some iconic moment liek Drau's swyaamvar Arjun lakshyavedh part. But these words, as far as I can understand is atleast 90% by Yudhishtir. Anyways still it says soemthign about dharma so...
