Did Karna really make that statement as per books too?Did he call Draupadi as Pro****e

I thought he was good but if he has really made that statement, then i would hate him.

Yes, he did. He called her a wh*re and incited Dury to disrobe her. Karna, like all other characters in MB was also flawed. No one is perfect in real MB

sad but its true that he commented on Draupadi for having five husbands and blaming her for that..
What an irony..a guy who life long struggled for respect ,couldnt do the same for others...

But it is Mahabharat after all.Its hard to justify all actions of any character..Even lord is not spared ...

Really, i thought atleast he respected Women. He followed a bit of dharma.
He knew Pandava's are his brothers by now is it?
Well, whether he knows it or not, how can he use such words, just because she deined to marry him.. because she called him sutaputra.

by the way its not the use of one word by him ...as per epic he went on insulting Draupadi on that moment with all possible words he could...even suggesting that she should go with Duryodhana

Which epic are you talking about?, he told unchaste and ordered the disrobing, he told her that his husbands are now slaves and they have lost her, she should choose new masters for herself.

No, he didn't know they were his brothers till just before the war when Krishna and then Kunti tried to talk him into joining the Pandavs. He was very loyal to Duryodhana and all his actions were guided by that loyalty towards his friend. Dury's enemy was his enemy
