Uloopi was struggling to not let her excitement take over her outer appearance. Her heart was beating as drum , all her unexpressed feelings were flowing through blood from vein to vein , suppressed emotions since years were creating waves within her. The moment at last reached, the moment to stand before her beloved, the only dream of her cursed widowed life, how will she be able to control herself? But she knows she has to remain calm, a wrong step from her and the situation could go against her. Aryaputra Arjun is quite shocked and confused at the moment. If she shows over excitement it may make Arjun thinking that his abduction is a conspiracy and that would turn him against entire Naga race. Already Arjun's relation with Takshak the chief of Nagas is not good as pandavs demolished Takshak's autonomy over Khandavprasth and turned the province into kingdom of Indraprastha with help of Vasudev Krishna and Takshak had to confine himself in Khandav forest. So in this situation Uloopi has to be composed and should have to convince her beloved tactfully.
Uloopi looked up towards Pandava prince . Arjun's eyes were moving all over her figure, slipping from one curve to another, such a lustful was the glare that Uloopi too felt embarrassed for once. Although she sighed in pleasure, thanking the creator for gifting her with this unmatched charm. At least that will help her in melting beloved's heart. She smirked under breath, even after spending five years in exile as ascetic eyes for beauty and manly desire is still possessed by third pandava.
In few moments both of them managed to control over their inner thoughts. And Arjun says the first.
"Devi may I know who are you? Any goddess or any other celestial nymph? and for which purpose I was brought here? How can I help you?" Arjun folded his hands in respect. He was being sure that this lady in front him cant be just a mere human, he still believed except Krishns no mortal can possess such extensive illusive power.
Uloopi gasped and knelled down before Arjun with folded hands. Whatever would be Arjun's decision but she had already put her heart on his feet. Whether he accepts or rejects her he will remain her husband forever. So its time to show her devotion to him.
"No Aryaputra, neither Devi, nor Gandharva, Kinnar or Apsara, I am a mere mortal by flesh and blood. My name is Uloopi, daughter of Naga king Kulavya in whose forest you were living in since last few months." Uloopi introduced herself calmly expecting an enraged reaction from her beloved.
Uloopi was right. Listening her identity the respectful gesture of third pandav changed into a frowning one.
"Nagkanya?" Arjun's tone was both amused and annoyed. He was still not believing a mortal, that too a young princess of Naga tribe whom the Arians always considered inferior to them will be able to capture him, pandu putra Arjuna one of the greatest among Arians.
"what do you want Nagakumari? and how dare you intoxicate me? Don't you know the consequence of your action?entire tribe of you may have to pay for your mistake." Arjun's voice was so grave that sounded unusual to himself too. Not because only he was angry but somehow ashamed. A thin looking young girl had abducted Arjuna whose name trembles the opponents in battlefield, ofcourse it was hurtful to his ego, his pride. But above all Arjun was irritated on himself for being attracted to physical beauty of Naga princess. What happened to his supreme control over his senses? was five years of his penance had no fruit?
"I know if the mighty third pandava wants he can anytime destroy the Nagas but I also know sons of pandu are not ruthless neither unjust that they will punish the others for anyone else's mistake." with much effort Uloopi managed to talk composedly. She got up and placed her blue eyes into the big brown ones of Dhananjaya, which were full of mixed emotions.
"looks like with illusions you are also possessed with intelligence and smartness too." a sarcastic smirk played on Arjun's lips after so long. "so I would like to know what made Naga princess testing her magical potentials on me?" the charm of Uloopi was restraining him from being rude so he chose to pinch her with taunts.
"My heart, Aryaputra,"muttered she calmly, its called everything is fair in love and war, today very love of mine compelled me to do what is against morality. There was no way left to get noticed by my beloved so I had to bring him to my place." Uloopi paused and took a deep breath, at last she was able to open her heart to her love.
Arjun took few moments to react. This charming princess is offering her love to him? Amused Arjun at first didn't understand what to say next, not only Uloopi's words Arjun was shocked over his own feelings too. Why is her words not seeming much indescent or absurd to him?
"Do you know what you are saying? You are offering love to a married man?" Arjun tried his best to be rude to her but his own voice sounded weak to him.
Uloopi was prepared for such question. And the answer too was with her. "Is it any unique or unseen incident of a king or prince of aryavart is getting married more than once? Was not king Pandu married twice? Was not Madhyam Pandava Bheemsen married to Raksas princess Hidimba at the time you all got married to Panchal princess? And is not Vasudev himself is married to more than one woman? Above all Draupadi too is married to more than one and as per my calculation goes she is now wife of one of your younger brother now." Uloopi paused. She didn't intended to go so far but out of excitement she got carried away. She sighed, now no way to return , she has to confidently put her words now to be clear on what she wants.
Uloopi's arguments were so strong that Arjun was struggling with words, her charm and words already had created an effect on him. Now her logic was too firm that it was hard finding any reason to refuse her proposal.
"But that depends on one's wish, and accepting love from an illusionist Naga princess who had intoxicated me is not certainly included in that wish list." Arjun with best effort tried to ignore his growing attraction towards Uloopi.
"yes I know you always do what you heart wants prince Arjun"smirked Uloopi, "the way you deliberately took the 12 years exile over you, as your heart said so." Uloopi's cold voice was as sharp as arrow.
Even Naga princess is well versed in sarcasm.
