yes poojie u r right but i am not sure what will happen to shri krishna when he goes to hastinapur with a sandhi prastav , i mean duryodhan has all the rights to insult him as well

Krishna said that Dury needs to be punished for his act of raising weapons, so that everyone can have confidence in Yudi's justice. His intention wasn't to insult dury

When krishna goes to hastinapur, he knows that this sandhi prastav is not going to work..

Draupadi never laughed at Duryodhan's fall. Bheem etc 4 Pandavas laughed but it seems that Draupadi was not even present there. Yes I know that later Duryodhan told Dhritarashtra that she laughed, but I think Duryodhan was never known as a 'truthful always' like Yudhishthir so he may lie to his father, right? Also you will find that he complained to his father that Krishna too, laughed at him then, when we know very well that Krishna was never present there, He left Indraprastha before this incident. So the person who can lie about Krishna, can easily lie about Draupadi too, what say? I think Duryodhan was trying to draw his father's sympathy by telling that even a woman laughed & insulted him!

[I am telling about Vyas's MB. In SB the incident is different.]

This is what happens when a certain "distortion" gets embedded in the minds of a generation of viewers...and they don't even bother reading the original text.
