Panchaali did not meet him, exept for doing the rituals necessary to bring in the new bride Subhadra inside. Arjuna met her in her chambers. It was his year with Panchaali at that time but Arjuna had decided to spend the year with both Panchaali and Subhadra. Which meant, Subhadra could have come had her share anytime. Panchaali did not have any objection or reaction. She knew that she was the one who had to spend one year with each of her husbands. Arjuna was not the one bound to do the same.

He was standing side ways to her and the plants kept in the window covered half of his face. But Sabyasachi's eyes were clearly visible. But, his eyes did not say what Panchaali wanted them to say. Its not that she loved Arjuna the most although there were rumors all over the palace and no wonder in Hastinapur too as Duryodhana and Dussasana were excellent in bad-speaking Panchaali. But Panchaali did not LOVE Arjuna the most. She just believed Arjuna to be her first preference of husband. After all, Sabyasachi won her and Panchaali wanted him to deserve her. And ofcourse, Panchaali loved him. As Panchaali was deep in such thoughts Sabyasachi looked back at Panchaali. Their eyes met.
"Are you uncomfortable?" Panchaali asked. Arjuna shrugged. "You are feeling uncomfortable. Not me." he smiled. Indeed yes. She was and she wanted to feel comfortable. "I do care, Panchaali." "I want to learn archery." Panchaali changed the topic. Sabyasachi gave her such a look that archery wasn't even a word related to him. "I don't like fighting you know. I dont like archery." Sabyasachi said with a careless grin. "Come on Sabyasachi. I am intelligent enough to know your tricks." Panchaali sarcastically looked away. Panchaali did not call Arjun as 'aarya' like she called her other husbands. Arjuna never bothered. "Its not that Panchaali. You get me wrong. I don't like fighting and that is why I fight. I excelled in it for the same reason. I love to challenge myself. My beloved Gandiva urges me." "You must have said the same to Subhadra." Panchaali said just to get a bit of pampering. "I am sharing this only with you." Arjuna said giving his winnig shot as if winning a bet. "And anyways, who am I to raise the dhanush..? You are the one who will change the phase of history. Right?" Panchaali looked at Arjuna. Panchaali's Sabyasachi he was. Sabyasachi did the same. Both laughed off together as if ending a duel. Sabyasachi held Panchaali close to him. Panchaali rested her head on his shoulder as she felt Sabyasachi's rough hands on her. Those were bruises due to archery. They hadn't slept all night. As they together saw the sun rise.. Panchaali still resting on her beloved Sabyasachi's shoulder closed her eyes and for the first time believed, yes she loved him the most.
