Panchaali and Pandavas... (Story together)
The Pandavas were finally happy and relaxed. They were ready to build the new palace in Khandavprasth with the help of Mayasura. The palace would be ready in no time, while the Pandavas, and their to-be Queen Panchaali sat under a huge tree which was saved from the forest fire. Yudhishtir and Phalgun planned about the building of the palace while Bheem walked up and down the ground. Nakul was still in the palanquins with the horses and Sahdev sat quietly, faraway from everyone. Panchaali felt impatient. She willed to discuss with Yudhishtir and Phalgun but she did not feel like going up and offering help. It was not ego, it was simply her will.
"What should we name our kingdom?" Yudhishtir shot his question. Phalgun broke a piece of twig and threw it. "Something prastha. As it was originally called Khandavprastha." said Phalgun. Panchaali wondered where Krishna was. He could suggest something nice and she was sure that Phalgun would accept it.
Finally they decided on Indraprastha. Panchaali suggested it as Indrapuri when Phalgun and Sahdev decided on Indraprastha. Mayasura came visible in front of them at this moment. He wished to know the description of our royal palace. All of the Pandavas looked at eah other and then to Panchaali's direction. Panchaali would discuss with all of them before each gave their views. She walked up to Yudhishtir.
"I think we should start with the normal sabha first. There will be beautiful waterways even in the sabha." Panchaali said. Phalgun said that the waterways should be till the staircases and not move off to the gardens. Yudhishtir described it to be .."as gorgeous as the stars at night, as pleasant as the clouds in the sky." Panchaali looked at Yudhishtir and understood that he did not expect much from anything. "Panchaali," said Bheem, "we shoudl first say that the palace should be huge so that all the small eyes are unable to fit the palace in their eyes. Isn't it jyeshth bhrata?" Yudhishtir smiled. Panchaali knew who Bheem meant by small eyes!! She knew of the 100 arrogant cousins her husbands had. Phalgun only described the curves and corners of the palace just as his nature. "Phalgun, how can the backyards be grey?" Panchaali asked as she heard Phalgun telling that he wanted a grey-like backyard! Phalgun smiled at Panchaali, "Magic and illusions, why can't it be grey then? I don't mean it will be covered. Just it should have a grey atmosphere." Nakul described how classy the palace should be. "But what about your horses Nakul, won't you describe the stables?" laughed Bheem and Phalgun. Panchaali said, with Nakul's approval, "The palace should have internal and external beauty, includes the stables." and laughed off. To this Yudhishtir and Phalgun was impressed with Panchaali. Sahdev did not demand anything. He only wanted the palace to have hidden secrets in every layer." "Just like the hidden third eye of knowledge." said Panchaali. "Yes, Panchaali speaks right." said Nakul. "What about you Panchaali?" Sahdev asked. "Yes," said Bheem and Yudhishtir nodded with approval. Phalgun looked up from his Gandiv. "I.." said Panchaali. "I want a balcony, from which most of the city will be visible. "Maybe not every core of it, but most of it." To this, all the Pandavs looked impressed. "It will show the whole of Indraprastha." Mayasur promised. "Panchaali, whatever the balcony shows, you can make the most of it I know." said Yudhishtir. "See see our Panchaali is so intelligent." Bheem said giving Sahdev a wink. "Panchaali is indeed a token of goodness for us." smiled Phalgun. "I will also wave you from the gardens and you wave back okay?" Nakul said. "You are lucky. You will get everything. The stars will be so sparkling to look at from your balcony. It prves you are open hearted ." Sahdev said.
