😭😭not looking forward to Karna's major blunder!😭 sniffles...I need a tissue! Thanks mnx12!! And what a promo!
Come On they have to show Duryodhan fall and Draupadi laugh!
"Andhe Ke Putra Andha" the classic sharp words that started it all! Oh Star Plus do Not disappoint!
I look forward to all of it providing Star Plus keeps with the theme!!
And Shani is right before anything Draupadi has to have her sons!

Shani.. may be combination of his ego to accept defeat and stop the game & lust to win back what he lost.. am not sure if it is a Kshatriya CoC (citations welcome), I think it is Kshatriya Behaviour

They may not show 'andhe ke putra andha' - they may instead show what the promo showed - Draupadi suggesting that Duryodhan order them to lay down their shastras, to which he vows to make them lay down their vastras 😆

I believe it was a combination of Kshatriya CoC of not refusing a game of dice challenge and the common gambler's dilemma of playing on and trying to win back whatever was lost. I have doubts whether there was really any ego involved in the first game of dice

I would like to think some ego was involved in accepting the invitation for the second game of dice, cos Dury, Karna, Dushi etc taunted the Pandavas that they got back their freedom thanks to their wife.

Yudi probably fell prey to ego or his promise of not refusing anything as I had read that Narada (he just loves to create trouble does'nt he?😊) told Yudi that a great slaughter is going to take place, hence Yudi decided that he will not refuse anything. He seems to have made a mental decision something to that effect.

This thread - directly available under 'Related topics' on this page - is worth referring to, particularly for original citations

Which one is priority Kshatriya COC? a) To respond a clearly deceptive call of a board game (not even a physical combat) or b) A Kshatriya's duty to always protect honour of a woman?
...As Bhima pointed out," O Yudhishthira, gamblers have in their houses many women of loose character(sic. yet). They do not yet stake those women having kindness for them even... This, however, I regard as a highly improper act--this act of staking Draupadi. This innocent girl deserveth not this treatment."

B.R. Chopra's Mahabharat cooked up a dialogue for Draupadi:-

"Andhe ka putra andha"
N a whole generation of people, who are too lazy to read the real epic, believed this dialogue like "andhas" n some of them actually believed that Draupadi deserved to be disrobed, firstly due to the "Sutaputra" comment n then the "Blind son" comment.
N now, this Star Plus serial, is cooking up another dialogue for Draupadi:-
"Shashtra le lijiye inse"
N again, a whole new generation (who don't bother to read the real epic) will once again believe this fiercely, that Draupadi compared Karna to demons( as shown in the serial during her Swamvar) n took away weapons from Duryodhan, n hence got disrobed.
As if taking away weapons, is the same as taking away clothes from a menstruating woman in public.
This is what distortions do to viewers.

As per the KMG translation, in the mayasabha, whether Draupadi laughed at Duryodhana at all is itself a bit speculative.

When Duryodhana originally falls in the mayasabha, the KMG translation makes NO mention of her being present during the time of the incident - in other words, the "andhe ka putra andha" comment NEVER occurred.

However, in the same translation in a later section, when Duryodhana is complaining to Dhritarashtra about being laughed at, he actually includes Draupadi amongst the people who laughed at him.

Purely for the sake of information, accuracy, as well as consistency, which instance is true??

I am NOT giving anyone the benefit of the doubt, and even IF she did laugh at him, NOTHING really justifies what happened to her.

I am actually flabbergasted that this promo is giving "reason" for the viewer to believe that the Kauravas were justified in their behaviour. And THAT is the most shameful thing.

I wonder if Draupadi's menstruation will be mentioned in this dignified kids version of Mahabharat..

BRC definitely did mention it. I have my doubts if this sanitized version will mention it.
