what ever the reason, the reaction of this act is very bad for the ones who commited this. the reasons which are given to justifie draupadi's vastra haran and other acts of violence against women are stupid and idiotic.

Such acts can never be justified! Its purpose was to humiliate the pandavas. And the conspirators accomplished it well through their deed!

duris plan was to snatch ip humiliate pandavas. nothing will hurt more when their wife is humiliated in front of them. humiliating that single lady will be humiliating five pandavas at a time. as per epic drau will never come in the chapter of laughing incident.i

he did not know Shakuni will play on behlaf of Duryodhan.. he though Dury will play and he can win Hastinapur.. this last minute change happened when he was not in a position to withdraw..

Part takers, you mean Duryodhan, Dusshasan and Karna. Yes they got killed by Bhima and Arjun.
I disagree that this act played any part in case of Bhishma, Drona.

Draupadi was common wife of the pandavas, their queen, quite an easy target to humiliate all brothers.
I feel irritated when someone tries to justify it.
