They didn't have a soft spot for each other, they were enemies. Arjuna developed a soft spot surely after getting to know Karna's real identity, but only after the war was over.

Next: Duryodhan, Duhshasan and Ashwatthama went to meet Eklavya to befriend him, before the latter sacrificed his thumb.

None of Drona's pupils are known to have ever met Ekalavya

Too bad this GOTW is ending - easily the best one that I've played here 😆

Arjun was filled w/ guilt @ Ekalavya losing his thumb, and so was Drona

No Arjun has no such reflection. But when he found Eklavya has lost his expert touch in archery with remaining fingers, he was relieved.

Next-

Karna has no part in Varnavat assassination plot. He protested this uncouth act, advised 'direct action' And was sad.

Answer to your question.

Karna knew abt the Lakshagriha assassination plot. But he hasn't protested or told his father adirath about it.

In starbharat it was shown that Karna protests and somehow adirath comes to know about it and informs the same to vidura.

no karna didn't protest nor did he tell adirath abt it.
