I read something like Bhishma imprisoning shakuni's family nd feeding 1 rice grain..gandhari married to a goat. Something like this..that shakuni took revenge against Bhishma due to this. What rubbish is this?

Shakuni's brothers fought in the war. Also, he had no problem with either Bhishma or the pandavas. There are several other points to thrash this folklore!

Forget the events from the original texts. Bhishma's character alone can thrash this folklore! It's impossible to believe that someone as great as him can do adharma.

A lotus grows in mud only, but does that effect its beauty in any way? No.

He sided with the wrong side indeed but that didn't effect his righteousness in any particular manner. In fact, it shined brighter than the sun itself. Lord Krishna's actions state it so well...nothing else matters!

I'll explain in more detail later.

Bheeshma never sided with Adharm even though he was bound to Hastinapur by oath. But I tend to put Karna in the same boat, he had to agree to what Duryodhan was doing because of his oath to him side with Adharm as well! The mistake Karna made was insulting Draupadi!

Both warriors loyalty basically cursed them!
