I know his curse, I know it was destined and I know he is what he is only because of what he did.. Yet I would say as a crown prince, for the good of his nation, he should have thought more about it and discussed with his father on which will work out better as opposed to taking this not so good decision all by himself at the heat of the moment

Alok Shankar ji's poem 'Bheeshm':

Adityon ka tej, ghani chhaya jisko karta hai
Jiski dhanu ki pratyancha se nikhil bhuvan darta hai
Devon ka devatva, naman jis narata ko karta hai
Kaaljayi, us adi purush ko manuj kaun kehta hai
Nahi manuj tum Bheeshm, manujta ki tum nav asha ho
Nishtha, bhakti, pratigya palan ki koi bhasha ho.

What a beautiful poem! Especially the last two lines...wow!
