@Sabhyatha : I think dhrith was indeed manipulative. He played his blind man card whenever he wanted things to be his way. He was pretty vindictive in hos heart. That's why he was never able to give love to pandavas because pandu was made king before him.

The reason for entire duri and party to go evil was because of bad parenting. One parent could not see the children and the other parent refused to see them. When there is nobody to care or stop you what else can be expected of them.
