Blue 😆😆😆.. that can very well happen.. Karna Arjun eye lock.. Arjun's eye swings to Kunti and back to Karna.. Karna smiles and nods 'taken care'
may be Karna's part that effect is gone.. from his reluctance i think he is unhappy with Arjun for the adharma of sharing his wife..

The stated reason was that she is his responsibility as Kunti is his brother's widow. Also, he and Gandhari care for her. The unstated reason we can infer from Mamashri's comments is that they are keeping Kunti in HP to prevent Pandavas from attacking the kingdom in the future.---------My Question of the Day: Is Karna a Maryada King of Anga? Or did he miraculously obtain the acknowledgement of 100 kings?

Shruti - far be it for me to defend SB... but, the way I see it we end up at the same place no matter what. GPB sides with adharma against Pandavas because he is tied to the throne of HP via promises he chose to make. The only difference is that in the original Queen SatyaGreedy made a bakra out of him and in this version King Krazy4Power completed job started by his GreedyGanny. In anycase GPB is a character who oversacrifices to the determinent of dharma - he shortchanges the public, misuses his samarth as regards Amba, and blindly binds himself to the throneholder of HP. The essence is similar... its just that SB he started out strong. But, the dilution was required pre-Vastaharan. They distorted but end result is same. A bevash Bhisma.
I must disagree over here. Yes, Bhishma of the epic was duty-bound to serve the throne, but his authority never overrode the king. One can defend Bhishma's premature and ill-judged vow by saying that he had no idea of the consequences that vow might have in the future. He did not have any reason to anticipate/ or the foresight to consider the possibility of the kingdom being ruled by an adharmi successor. He was also quite young at that time.In contrast to this, Starbharat's Bhishma has been shown to have sufficient clout and an influence over the king's decisions. He was also perfectly aware that by submitting himself to Dhritarashtra and agreeing to support him unflinchingly he would be forced to accede to Dhrit's demands and give in to his adharma. Besides, he is now an experienced statesman and well versed with politics unlike in the epic when he made the promise. Thus, his promise to Dhrit, makes no sense and is inconsistent with his portrayal so far in the show.See Starbharat, why we insist on sticking to the original? 😡
Going by the rate at which they are distorting Karna as an unblemished character, I hope I stop watching the show before they come up with some ridiculous justification of why he actively participated in the fiasco after the dice game.
Or they might just end up showing Karna protesting against Drupadi's insult instead of Vikarna. Maybe that's why they have not bothered to cast the latter 😕
