Diala - you are right. GPB specifically references HP, but maybe he considers HP symbolically - as in its the capital of the kingdom. N if kingdom is split he can go with either half?🤣 Technically though you are correct - HP and IP are 2 different locations legally

He has to build a palace for himself right over the border line and take care of both HP and IP.. He should have atleast vowed to protect Kurupradesh instead of specifying Hastinapur.. and how dare they amend his vow as they wish as if the earlier episodes are not available anymore for us 😡 may be they thought we will not be crazy enough to remember or recheck old episodes 😆

Not sure about Drona though... but seeing as Drona and Drupad never became friends again, it would be easy to think that Drona didn't care all to much about Draupadi ... but that still doesn't explain why he wouldn't stand up for the Pandavas wife ... who after all were the ones who captured Drupad... ahh... this doesn't make sense!!!!

My interpretation of their silence is very simple.. nothing to do with their namak halal.. they had to be silent when Draupadi was molested because she was indeed a slave of Duryodhan..

ooops😆
ya you are right he didnt take any oath explicitly other than celibacy. But i consider his condition same as Drona and kripa both of them didnt take any oaths as such but were bound to the throne of HP same goes for Bheeshm

@Diala and anjana👏
You guys actually saw previous epsiodes to do these analysis.WOW yaar
ok so i dont have to watch these episodes now i am just going to pick up points from your analysis
So from what i understand his oath was to serve HP and he then asked his father for Mrityuicha boon so that he can live long enough to establish dharam on this throne
Ok so even if i give writers a leeway that to establish dharam in HP is his main oath as he made that promise to his father and HP and IP are both part of his oath then also i cant understand several things. So basically to fulfill half of his oath that is to establish dharma in IP he will compromise his other half of his oath that is to establish dharam in HP.
Not compromise he will actually go against half of his oath which required dharam to be estalished in HP if he makes that promise to Dhrit. Can such oaths be compromised or can promises be made later that goes directly against those oaths?Becuase if the promise he gives to Dhrit is the reason why dury becomes yuvraj of HP and the silence during Drau's vastaraharan he is letting adharam happen in HP which is against half of his oath?So now after he makes this promise to dhrit half of his oath will become invalid? Can one really do that with oaths make promises later that changes their oaths or invalidates them?if this can be done he can very well compromise with his celibacy oath or make some promise that invalidates his celibacy oath i think every one will be happy.
So to summarize even if i give writers the leeway that his oath was to establish dharam in HP and HP and IP were both part of his oath it still doesnt make sense to me

Molesting a slave isnt adharam?

Guess that is between the master and slave so no one can interfere.. May be it was not adharma too.. it is obvious from this on how slaves were treated those days..

Sabhayata - Episode 2 taak thik tha... it made sense. Its what he told during interrupted coronation of Dury that is the prob. All those things about I will stand against the throne and prevent it from doing Adharma. Then they compounded it yesterday a bit by saying he would leave with the Pandavas - but, there I am willing to assume that he meant HP symbolically no literally in his vow. Still the "dharma/adharma" bit trips him up and I forsee the kinds of dialogue I wrote some pages back in jest.

Episode 2...theek se yaad nahi aa raha. 😕
I only remember that he uttered:

'Jab tak Hastinapura mein dharma aur samarthya ki sthapana nahi hoti, tab tak meri mrityu nahi hogi'.

Something like this.
