harsh.very harsh way to throw the reality at our heads.
even if there are 100 people on the mb forum. they would rather listen to the millions who watch the show regularly and not pay attention to the negative reaction to show of some few people.
but it hurts to think our opinions dont really matter so we would rather avoid that and continue our criticism.Cheers di.

The makers have spent so much money on the project and most of it has already been shot. Even if they take the feedback, they cant change anything now. They are no fools. 10 or 20 of us ranting on this forum will not make an inch of a difference. They probably dont even know that people like us exist.

I was really angry for quite sometime for the way some characters r handled. Result - i ended up with a headache. Phew Now i have made my peace with serial. People might as well watch it for their fav characters or actors.

What can we do??? We can go back to amusing ourselves in the story distortion thread😆😆 Poor us

di , they should've wore boots before climbing the mountain ... Just because they've invested so much is no excuse for cooking up fake stories ... And making peace would be silently accepting their fake Mahabharat... Don't you think so ?

Well...if people would have bothered about results without trying, India wouldn't have been an independent country.

I'll always speak against these distortions, and I'm sure many others will do. Atleast we can make others aware of the fake things being shown.

We need to track their errors right up to the end. Like coming up next is the bismirching of Drupada's character.

Yeah, Drupada was an ingrate, and a good example of a bad friend. He did a lot of wrong to Drona, although some of it was justified - once they had grown up, their statuses were different - he was a king, while Drona was a Brahmin. Instead of rubbing it in, he could have acknowledged the friendship, given Drona his cow and offered him any other gift. Wouldn't have had a lifelong enmity over that.

I won't comment on Drona here, but aside from Drona, Drupada never did anything wrong. He got Draupadi, and I don't think he wanted a daughter for the purpose of destroying the Kauravas: she was the 'get one free' part of his yagna. But once he had her, he raised her and then when time came, held her swayamvara. Once Draupadi got married, he along w/ Krishna, formed the bulk of the support to the Pandavas.

In the Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas had no army of their own - remember, Indraprastha was still under the Kauravas. So the main army was given to them by the Panchalas, and then other kingdoms like Matsya, Chedi, Magadha, Kekaya, et al. Even Krishna's support - his army went to the Kauravas, while he was a non-combatant. Drupada went into that war and lost everybody - all his brothers, sons, grandsons, himself - the entire Panchala clan & army was simply fodder for Drona & Ashwatthama, and some by Karna. At the end of it all, they had no survivors - in fact, I wonder whether Yudisthir was forced to annex their kingdom or put someone outside their family as a ruler?

Given all the sacrifices that the Panchalas made for the Pandavas, it's absolutely disgraceful that this serial has decided to depict Drupada in this manner. Add his name to the list of people badly maligned by Swastik productions 😡
