Thanks Vrish 😛

Yeah looks like the translators are a set of independent sensible people as annoyed as we are 😆, who also try their maximum to to correct things in their scope 👍🏼

Why are the makers of this show hellbent of landing themselves in a mess of a plot? If killing an unarmed Drona is 'adharma' according to Krishna, how in the world are they going to justify his own plan of killing Drona using the Ashwatthama trick during the Kurukshetra war?

wat about Karna ???😕 he was also unarmed

After seeing Draupadi's introduction, I am getting a nasty feeling that MB will become all about Arjun and Draupadi's love story and the Mahabaharat may end up becoming MAHA BARAAT OF ARJUN

my dear, wat a punch line😆👏

I actually mentioned this in another thread I think. The reason why it's adharma in this case is because Drupad is coming unarmed on peaceful terms.
Though it doesn't make sense perfectly, think about a peace messenger. If a king kills a peace messenger, that is adharma because a) the peace messenger is there representing his king and b) the peace messenger is advocating peace. Not to mention he is unarmed.

Similarly, it would be Adharma to kill Drona when he is unarmed and coming out of friendship (and not anger, hatred, etc.) ... the war scene is totally different because there two opposing sides are fighting and peace no longer remains there.

What I'm more worried about is Drona said that he will not raise his weapons on Dristadyumn because he sees his son in him... which makes me think that will Drona just give up his weapons when he sees Dhristadyumn or will the AShwattama trick still be put into action

🤣 and I will forgive all faults of the CVs for showing Bhima and Hidimbi falling for each other..

Why was Arjuna all time 😡 at the woman he is trying to save? if he does so which lady will come along with him except for a rakhshasi 😆

another thing I hate about this is showing Kshatriyas eat laddoos in palace and fruits in the forest 😡.. weren't they hunters? I find a very irritating intention behind this which I dont want to write here 😡

Something that I found intriguing is the portrayal of Karna. As far as I understand, Karna's knowledge of the fact that he was a discarded - possibly an illegitimate, bas***d - child that turned him into a cold and bitter youth. Also its due to this reason,I think, that he was obsessed with proving himself and outmatching Kshatriyas (esp Arjun, who was reputed to be the foremost warrior among Kshatriyas) so that no one ever dares to touch that weak spot of his. In this serial, neither is Karna aware of his adoption nor does he seem to be half as cold or ambitious. In fact he might well be the softest of all in the younger generation and often Yudhishtir appears to be more calculative and worldly wise before him. Nor does anyone, including his arch rival Arjun, ever derides him by calling him 'Sutputra' (perhaps to make Arjun appear more virtuous and less arrogant and casteist than he's supposed to be). That word has rarely been used so far. So I'm wondering how will they justify the central role Karna played in Draupadi's humiliation. Also Draupadi seems to be too saintly, ignorant of societal divisions and not someone who may start looking down upon lower castes in a matter of months. Either they have to show something drastic happening to his character between Draupadi's Swayamvar and the Dice game or they have to simply turn him into a helpless spectator to the events like Bhishma and Drona. Otherwise its absurd to think of Karna who's so teary eyed, polite and morally upright suddenly instigating a woman's molestation in public.

I think the adolescent Karna was closer to the character. The older one resembles Yudhishtir and Ram more than Karna.

i have the same fear.Especially after today's episode when krishan ji himself said that his only two weapons for establishing Dharma are Drauapdi and Arjuna discarding everyone else's role especally the role other pandavas played in the actual epic to establish dharam in just one go.This one line atleast for me murdered entire essence of the epic.
If Dharam raj yudhishtir himself is not required for establishing dharam then why fight a huge war to make him a king under whom dharma can flourish why not only make Arjuna the king why save and guide pandavas at each and every stage only save and guide arjuna since other 4 arent required at all

@Rehanism:I dont have much issue with karna's potrayal yes i would have liked them to how him more fiercer but over its still ok till the rangbhoomi incident they did show him to be ambitious.
The only issue i have is showing pandavas giving so much respect to karna .like you said they always reffered to him as sutputra and looked down upoun him which is why Karna became more bitter towards them .This hanst been shown at all in this epic

and it would have been so simple tooo... without Arjun, they all would have perished in the fire since none were able to figure out anything... Bhim, though poison doesn't affect him, clearly got his foot caught on fire and as a result lost his ability to do his super earth hole power thingy ... so imagine what would have happened if his fists got on fire... Basically, Bhim wouldn't have survived.

So all that's left are the Kauravas, but all Arjun had to do was challenge Duryodhana and his brothers, and killing them would be like a child tearing a blade of grass ... easy. Revenge accomplished, Line to throne accomplished... now Dhrit. has no choice but to make Arjun the Yuvraaj. ... fast forward to Draupadi's swayamvar - arjuna will easily win since Karna has also died, so none stands in his way. Draupadi and Arjun get married, they become the king and queen, and Arjun sets off on a tour to conquer the neighboring kingdoms .. success. Entire aryavarta is now under Arjun's rule. Since none can defeat Arjun, everyone has to fall and accept Arjun's rule.

Fast forward to the time where the Kurukshetra war would have been - Krishna doesn't have to teach Arjun the Gita because dharma is now ruling and there is no event. The future is perfectly clear now, without the light of the Gita and Krishna disappearing from the material world back to his Goloka, the entire world is slowly overtaken by the forces of the demon Kali. People panic, looking for some guide, but alas nothing is found because of the silly CVs of the future. What will happen now!!!!

...
...
...

uhh ... got sidetracked again ... look what you did Sabhayata 😆

Was it that hard for the CVs to insert "pandavas" instead of "Arjun" ... Could have saved them from even more stupidity ... but it's a never ending loop ... CVs needs brains to not be stupid and being stupid requires no brains ... (no offense CVs 😉).

Here are the top 10 things I want to see in the future now:
1) Arjuna kicking Jarasandha's ass
2) Arjuna instructing Yuddhistira on why not to play dice and threatening to take him down
3) Arjuna wiping Kunti's tears about 1000 more times (we're on epi 90 i think, so a few times each episode should cover it)
4) Arjuna doing a dance with Subhadra
5) Arjuna kidnapping Subhadra
6) ... I honestly can't think of anything else ...
6) Arjun teaching Yuddhistir the Gita while repeatedly saying "mera dost Madhava kehta hai"
7) Arjun attacking Dhristadyumn for killing Drona (just to see how angry Shaheer can get)
8) Arjun teasing Subhadra
9) Bhim eating
10) Arjun helping Krishna get married to all his wives
(11) Arjun getting married to Uloopi, Chitrangada, etc... I actually think that CVs will show this all in one episode
