And just when it was inconceivable that the show could go any lower, they show Draupadi turning into the soap operaish sacrificing daughter, ready to take on the fatal blow to save her father.

Exploring possible reasons behind motivations of the characters and extrapolating is fine as long as they stay true to the spirit of the epic, but this is just pure mutilation of the story.

P.S: I know they will probably justify Krishna's actions saying Drona is on the side of 'adharma' during the war. After all who can argue with God?

your PS answer is much better than my answer ... which is (brace yourself) ... Arjuna suggesting the Ashwatthama trick 🤣 .. of course that doesn't make sense since Arjuna loves Drona immensely, but nothing in the show makes sense

Your solution does fit into this show's logic. they might probably end up showing Krishna and Arjuna narrating the bhagvad gita to the entire pandav army. And at the end of the narrative, Arjun would say to Nakul "ye sabh hamein gurudev ne samjhaya tha, bhool gaye?" 😉🤪

Why even that? Have Arjun narrate the Gita to both Krishna as well as the Pandava army. Have Drupada ask the most questions, almost defiantly. 😈

while screaming.
Arjun "la-di-da"
Drupada: "mein Drupad hoon, yeh Drupad ki shareer hai, mein atma nahin hoon, mein Drupad hoon, mein Drupad hoon. hahahaha"

Thankfully in the Tamil dubbed version, Subhadra did not scream help to Arjuna by his name.. She just shouted Rajkumar (in tamil).. they saved their heads.. glad they atleast know it is sensitive down south..

In the translations then, they seem to be correcting things. In the Bong version, they edited out Kunti's statement to her sons, 'Let them kill us if they want to' in the scene b4 the palace is set on fire.

However, the translations can't paper over the basic massacre of the story.

Diala, one more post, & you are Goldie 👏
