Personally I find the idea fascinating if it can be executed properly.

Now that's new low for the serial to sink into.

Why do you want to turn a devoted, chaste and loyal wife into Karna's paramour?

There are several instances where Draupadi's love and loyalty towards her husbands come through- especially for Yudhishthira. Even after everything that she went through, the respect and commitment she had for her husbands was unwavering.

How does this plural arise if she really is committed to one???

Hmm.. What do you mean? She was committed to all of them, so much so that Satyabhama (Krishna's wife) asked how she was able to satisfy all her husbands.

I never said she was committed to any one. She was equally dedicated to all her five husbands, despite Yudhishthira's damning accusation that she was partial towards Arjuna.

In fact in the whole of MB- there's is not a single incident which shows her partiality towards Arjuna. On the contrary, there are at least two three incidents where her respect and concern for Yudhishthira comes through.

If there is 'committment', 'other' doesn't arise!Do you find any sense in the phrase 'committed to all of them'??Please think and say!

We are used to monogamous marriages, hence our inability to accept the fact that a woman can be in a polyandrous marriage and yet be devoted to them equally.

So what are you saying? Draupadi was not devoted equally to all the Pandavas? Do we have any proof for that (apart from Yudi's unsubstantiated accusation during their swargarohan?)

Dedication and committment mean the same that is 'loyalty'.

Quoting what you posted in another thread.

Once you choose, you choose for a lifetime. There's something called commitment in a marriage.

If she was truely dedicated to Yuddhishtir how can she dedicate herself to other Pandu sons???
