But i feel a bit differently ..even if this was their imagination...I found karna portrayal really justifying his nature...he was bounded with his friendship with duryodhana.but as shown he was quite disapproving of his "wrong" ways... regarding his being generous.. I too think it was his own gesture...n not guided by his father as shown

someone above pointed that karna's character was bad and here they r showing it good...I differ with that too... there was depth in that character and if he was supposedly bad ..then krishna wud never praise him at his death...

Karna was by himself a Danveer.. He is shown to be a great devotee of Sun God, though he did not know that Suryadev was his father.. It was like his policy that he will never deny anything that is being asked during/after his worship.. Now this is according to Adiparva..

But on the contrary, later we see that he vowed to Duryodhan that he will be generous until he defeats Arjuna.. Karna supporters will take the first and haters the next.. Of course CVs dint know too.. We don't know which among these two is real.. so they created a new concept.. His father advises him to do charity and pray for the good of all..

But I am happy for this character of his is at-least covered in this serial though distorted..

if they are wrapping up the Lakshgraha part in this hurry, then they are missing a great chance to show the Pandava unity.. Now almost everyone knows this plan.. Bhishma is on the way, Vidur sends some parcel (the digger??), Arjun has a clue 😕

and Dury Dushu Shakhuni knew they are caught and are hurrying up the process instead of negating?

not just amavasya, moon light is not of the same intensity everyday.. how will they manage with dimming light for half month and brightening light for another half.. the real Lakshagraha did manage with the fire torches isn't it?

The show should be named 'Mahabakwas'.

Yeah, if there was any hero of this Lakshagriha, it was Bhima. He smelt the lac, and guessed what the Kauravas were up to. Yudisthir also read the clues sent by Vidura. They escaped through the tunnel, and from there, Bhima was the hero - carrying his 5 brothers & Kunti on his back. This stretch of the story is one about Bhima's heroism first, and then Yudisthir's for guessing the moves. Arjun was as active as Nakul & Sahadev - nothing against any of these 3, but there are times they have to follow, not lead.

Yeah, Karna was a born daanveer, and if anyone would have inspired him to do that, it would likely have been Suryadev.

Almost everywhere Arjuna was following orders of some one or the other isn't it? Yudishtar, Bheem, Krishna, Bheeshma, Indra and many more? not complaining, just meaning he was well guided.. 😊

I really doubt they will show Bhima's involvement. And the promo hinted that Purochana set the fire...as the Pandavas were trying their level best to escape the fire.

Makes me miss DBSK - while they got the burning of the house of lac wrong (showed Purochan doing it), at least they were fair to Bhima & Yudisthir, and didn't make Arjun their hero on steroids, the way Mahabakwas has done. Of course, that serial went the other way - selected an Arjun who looked permanently depressed 🤔 And they failed to ever find a Draupadi 😕

Anyway, don't be surprised if next week, Arjun does the killing of both Hidimba & Bakasura. After all, the MB is just his story, right?

Morning real fact:

Star Plus is showing exactly the way Mahabharata has been interpreted by Ved Vyas and scholars... You want evidence?

Let's have a look... take the example of Karna

He was ambitious in the beginning, not recognized due to his family background, his ambition didn't let him discriminate the fine line between good and evil. In order to pay his debt to a dishonest person who got him recognition, he had to support him. He was against dishonesty, in order to get relieved from his dilemma he started donating. At the end he repented for the mistakes he made, wanted salvation from the Lord, it was pre-destined... he accepted death because he wasn't able to bear the burden anymore which draws people's sympathy makes him a tragic hero.

Now, Star Plus is showing exactly the way it is interpreted. But, the people misunderstood and started criticizing the channel. And now, those same people are praising the channel...

It is just a humble request to you... The team had prepared for almost 4 years, so the outcome can never be wrong. Before criticizing the team viewers are requested to focus on Mahabharata as a whole. The whole Mahabharata is not just focused on Karna, or Arjuna, or Bhishma, or Drona, or anybody in particular. It is a multidimensional greatest work entirely directed by Lord Krishna...
