Village Boy Productions, the makers of few creative shows like Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo, Afsar Bitiya and Ek Ghar Banounga are geared up for yet another storytelling.
"Rakesh Paswan is coming up with a new show and actor Ali Hassan has been roped in to play a prominent role in the series. The show is now titled as Draupadi," said a source.
"Ali Hassan's role will be close to that of Duryodhan's character and the show will have a basic storyline of Mahabharat with a modern set up," said a source.
When contacted, Ali Hassan confirmed the news, "Yes, I am doing Rakesh Paswan's next show. Though I can't reveal much about the show, all I can say is that the show is loosely based on the lines of Mahabharat." Ali Hassan was last seen in Star Plus's Arjun.
