Ah I am here after a long time 😛
I saw yday's episode... I quite liked the episode but... for a better analysis I would need to watch a few more episodes :P
So .. hw this forum is going on .

doesnt she look too good for a grandmother?? hmmm...looks like its her life's ambition to have bhisma abduct, oh sorry, escort after threat of war,😉 royal princessess for her sons and grandsons. poor , poor bhishma.

It seems to me from the framework of this show thus far, the creators of the show are trying to make Dhritirashtra and hence, Duryodhan as the victims of the "nitis" and "ethics" of Vidur and also Krishna, who supported the Pandavas.

I don't understand this. This new show has shown a clearly different track even amongst relations between the members. The old show was much better.

This is all six-pack abs, new/heavy clothes and graphics. Truly sad!

This show seems like its against dharma.

i dont think that is true. Here, they are focusing on why what happened, happened. The back story and the reasoning for everything that is to happen later. Why was Dhritharashtra so spiteful and his ambition for the throne, why sometimes unknowingly or for the sake of something, one doesnt do justice and it bounces back to you (Satyawati, Bheeshma etc)

Noone is really born evil. It is the surrounding and teachings in addition to one's personality that make a person who he is. I feel that these people are trying to tell us how wrong doings get back at you.

That said, I am a huge fan of BRC's Mahabharat. And this version is quite different.. Cleverly so, since it cannot be compared to BRC's version

So they have made Shakuni a villain from the start. Ok, fine, but why was he mountaineering, just so that he could get some fireflies? That seems stupid, doesn't it? You get fireflies anywhere, if you know to look. (Or don't you?)

So Dhritarashtra is an expert warrior, a greedy prince whose only negative is he is blind. Plus, he can stamp anyone to reach the throne. And here Pandu is one oversmiling, goody goody prince who is so eager to assist his jesht bhrata in any way possible. Wow, what bromance.

And Satyavati, the great Rajmata is alive and kicking! SHe hasn't aged a bit! WOnderful, she is almost 80 something and still looks like a 20 year old!😆 But Sayantani is acting great! I am actually starting to like Satyavati more than anyone else.😛

Come to Gandhari. When was she afraid of darkness? And it would seem stupid right, if she is afraid of darkness, why did she put the patti? ANd I think some time back someone posted a topic about why Gandhari wore the patti on her eyes. After all, it seems the stupidest thing to do, especially if you are afraid of the dark.

She must have been sitting in a corner, listing out all the princesses available and how many ways she can bring them to Hastinapura. I mean, how many ways, she can ask Bhishma to bring them.
