Yup i agree but i dont think any of the other wives of pandavs stayed in hastinapur/indraprastha except for subhadhara becuase she was krishan's sister.I think all the other wives of pandavs stayed at their father's place only.As far as i remeber when draupadi was made to marry all 5 brother's she took a promise form them that none of their wives will stay here with them and for the year that draupadi is not with the respective brother they can go and visit their wives. That is how i remember it

We discussed it a bit in the Doubts & Discussions page - don't remember which page, but this is a myth. Except Hidimbi, who was a rakshashi, all the Pandava women lived in Indraprastha. Like when the Pandavas went into exile, it's explicitly mentioned that Sishupala's son Dhrishtaketu came to take Nakul's wife back to his kingdom while the Pandavas were in exile. Same happened for all other Pandava wives.

Only exception was Uloopi & Chitrangada, who only lived w/ Arjun in Hastinapur after the Ashwamedha yagna

hi fren...i luv mahabharat serial a lot...i had heard the story from my grand mum...so i was very exited when this serial had come...this serial should showed some important thing in detail .. .like born of dhitarastra , pandu and bidur ...how they three one is blind , one is weak and ill every time, and bidur is smart and intilegent...how servant daughter born...they should have showned the story clearly...and i had heard that amba done tapasya and got ashriwad from god that in her other janam she will kill bisma pitama by becoming half girl abd half boy ...and in second born she become shikhandi who is half girl and half boy...and it is also said that shikhandi and dhropari were born at a time from agani kunda and doing puja by their father...and i have not heard about bhishma pitama and pasuram fighting ...this r the thing i didnot liked...
what about u all guys frens do repley and give ur views

Welcome here.

Bhisma - Parshuram story is available in Mahabharat.

This is only 128 epi. show so they are running. It will be closed in March. They will show Pandav-Kaurav story in detail.

And in this show, they are showing some stories differently.I don't know why but they have changed Satyawati's story totally ...It's only negative point

ya the serial is focused in pandav and kauravs story...but they should have showned the imported part as i have mention above...in a short cut way...we dont know most of the story...for example i also dont much about the mahabharat but when my grand mum told me i knew it...their r most of the children or people who does not know the proper story of mahabbharat...so this serial should show the story properly so that youngster can also know story of mahabharat ...know about our culture and our god

But in case of Bhima no one took a proposal for marriage it was more of a spoantaneous marriage or on the spot the marriage was decided. But if you are taking a proposal you will obviously want the elder child to get married first
And besides they wanted the king to have as many heir's as possible

Even putting Hidimba aside, it was Arjun who won Draupadi, and had Kunti not accidentally made her request, the second Pandava to be married would have been Arjun, not Yudhisthir. So if there was any rule - written or unwritten - that the eldest son had to be the first to marry, it certainly wasn't followed in case of the Pandavas. Had Arjun not had to share Draupadi, the sequence of wives would have been Hidimbi/Bhima, Draupadi/Arjun, Devika/Yudhisthir, Valandhara/Bhima, Uloopi/Arjun, Chitrangada/Arjun, Subhadra/Arjun, Vijaya/Sahadev (daughter of Jarasandha) and Karenamati/Nakul (sister of Sishupala). Had that happened, Devika, not Draupadi, would have become the queen of Indraprastha.

Which wouldn't have been in any particular sequence at all as far as age went.

I will again say what i said earlier if parents or elders are planning the marriage or proposal they will obviously plan for the elder child to get married. Arjun winning the swayanaber wasn't planned they didn't go their thinking arjun will marry draupadi they just went there and because arjun was good in archery he participated it wasn't a planned proposal lke in case of dhridhrashtra. Of course there is no strict rule there isn't even one today also. But even today when parents are planning marriage they will always plan and want elder child to get married first younger child may get married due to some other reasons but if its upto parents they will want elder child to get married first. Same here bheeeshm went with proposal of the eldest child accepting the marriage of the younger one being a parent is not right Its not a written rule but its obvious that if a parent is planning marriage he will plan eldest child to get married just like today. If kunti was taking marriage proposal for soemone she will obviously take it for yushishtir first

BTW I didn't know Yudhistir had another wife why the hell did he not put her on stake. He has more right on her than he had on draupadi
