Is that in the original Mahabharat or a version like the Tamil version; because Draupadi does not mention Karna as per my understanding. I dont think you can respect or love someone who insulted you in the public like he did

Actual answer was Satyabhama, not Rukmini.

16108

Rukmini
Jambavati
Satyabhama
Kalindhi
Mitravindya
Bhadra
Satya
Lakshmanaa

The above were his main queens, and then there were 16,100 princesses who Krishna freed from Narakasura & married to preserve their status.

Impossible.

There was no way she could have fallen in love with Karna. She would never even have seen him, prior to her swayamwar, so where is the question of falling in love.

Moreover, when Karna was about to lift the bow (during her swayamvar), she intervenes and says she will not wed the son of a charioteer. It would be a Pratiloma marriage (where the bride is of a higher caste and the groom is of a lower caste).

If she did nurture a secret desire to wed Karna, why publicly insult him by questioning his parentage?

And yes, as Vrish mentioned above, Kripacharya- not Dronacharya, was the K-P 's first guru.

Oh, I didn't know that. In childhood, I was taught to recite the names of Panchakanyas by my Nani... (I forgot why I had to recite it though😆). She only taught me these 5. I'll ask her when I see her next😉

There are two lists here, both often confused with one another.

First: The Pancha Kanyas

Ahalya Draupadi, Kunti, Tara Mandodari

Second : The Pancha Pativratas

Sati Sita Savitri Damayanti Arundhati

(Sometimes, Sati is replaced by Anusuya)

Googling will give you several wrong answers as well. So don't get confused b/ w the two lists.
