I don't get how marrying Draupadi to Arjun achieved anything. It made Drupad Arjun's ally, not vice versa. The way matrimonial alliances worked is that if the husband's family was at war, the wife's family was obliged to support them, but the converse wasn't necessarily true.

Like when Amba - in her original life, after the defeat of Parashurama - searched several kingdoms for a warrior who would cause the death of Bheeshma, Drupada rejected her pleas. She had a garland whose wearer would be the cause of Bheeshma's death. After Drupada rejected her request, she hung it on the gates of his palace, and when she was reborn as Shikhandini, she recalled what she had done as Amba, and wore it herself.

I d like a few clarifications. Drupad performed the yagya for son after his defeat by dronas students, right?

That means Draupadi was born after that fight. Subhadra was already shown contacting Arjuna before that fight. That means she was elder to Draupadi!

Would like to have your views on this.

Forget this Subhadra.. She is an imaginary character like Priyamvada.. Real Subhadra who will ofcourse will be a look alike will be born in 20 years from now.. and will meet/marry Arjun when she is of marry-able age.. For convenience we will name them Subhadra 1 & Subhadra 2 😆

I read in one of the posts that Ved Vyas wasn't one single individual but a title given to those proficient in the vedas. So we could be dealing with Vyas 1, 2, 3,,,, 😆 and not only Subhadra 1 and 2 as on this show !
