And to answer the question, I don't think Amba was wicked enough to burn a field just to meet Shalva. She was haughty, but not wicked.

I have another question - it seems stupid, but here goes:

On SHalva was the person whom Amba loved. Another Shalva was Krishna's enemy. Were these two related? Like, Shalva I and Shalva II?

OH and also, why did Gandharva Chitrangada fight with human CHitrangada?

Varaali, I think the ruler they showed in Panchal was Prishatha, not Drupada. But one thing - when they showed the map, they showed Hastinapur as an empire starting from Avantika and going right up there, while Panchal was another empire in east MP. In reality, Hastinapur was a small city in what is today Meerut, and Panchal is just in the east or south east of that. They are as bad in geography as they are in mythology.
