As far as I know, Vichitravirya was having some disease or he was very weak or something.. and yes, he was drunk.. but he didn't even leave the palace...

I am not sure about the Prishata story...

Pure un-adulterated fiction. Prashasth, the father of Drupada himslef was dethroned for a while and was re instated only with Bhishma / Shantanu's help. It is unthinkable that Prashath or Drupada would behave with Bhishma in the manner shown y'day

Anyway we are not sure which panchal king is this- Prashasth or his son Drupada?

Actually, it was Bhishma who didn't give enough respect I thnk. He used to call her, "Daseyi" or something.. Daseyi means daughter of a Dasa (servant).
