Part 32 (Previous part : Part 31 )
"We thought about this so many time! So many times to tell you everything! But we couldn't!" standing straight, she continued "But I can't stand here and say that we kept it for you, for your sake!" her face fallen.
"Then why did you do it?" he questioned.
"The first time we saw you in the orphanage, you were" a happy smile spread across her lips "Our Son!" Stepping one more step closer to him "You were born in our hearts, not anyone else's. I know it wasn't right. I know it was a mistake not to tell you but we... we couldn't bring ourselves to do it!" she said sincerely.
"And Pakhi?"
"Pakhi!" she smiled widely "She was a miracle!" With sadness she added "I assume now you will" stopping for a brief second before continuing "leave us!" she said it in an affirmative way by hiding unasked questions in it. Seeing him not reacting, she continued "If that's what you really want to do, I won't stand in your way any longer!" she said as she turned on the opposite side and moved a bit.
"You are my Mother!" he said turning his entire form towards the Queen.
And she hearing him, faced him with tears cascading.
"King Mohan was my Father!" he added looking in her eyes with confidence and love "This is my family and I could never leave you all!" he said with all his might as a smile of happiness spread on Queen lips, making her to take few steps to enclose the gap between them before she could take her child in her arms, Prince in Queen's arms.
And he reciprocating the gesture, smiled contently at his life even a glint of sadness was visible in the corner of his eyes.
"This is the best Christmas gift!" she said still hugging her son. "The best gift I have ever got!" she smile and cried silently before getting control of her emotions.
Breaking the hug and distancing herself "And the throne?" she questioned "What do we do about Sultan?" with an expecting eyes.
"I won't let him win without a fight!" he declared making her smile proudly.
As they both got out of the room, they found Pakhi waiting for them.
"I need to tell you both something!" she said.
"We don't have time now, Dear! We have to go!" Queen said calmly.
"Come with us!" Prince proposed as he pulled the wheelchair for the Princess to move towards their destination.
