"Mom can you tell me what is happening here? Why are you calling him with his name. And why did he call you mom?" Madhu

"Because soon I'll be his mother in-law" Padmini

"What!" Madhu shouting surprised

"He is proposing for your marriage" Padmini

"What?" Madhu shocked

"He wants to marry you. He told me so two months back. But he didn't want us to tell you because of your exams. Now you finished your exams and he wants to know what is your opinion and your reply to his proposal" Padmini

"What reply? What proposal? Who proposed to whom? Who will marry whom? I can't understand anything" Madhu

"Come sit here and calm down. RK wants to marry you" Padmini

"RK? Wants to marry me? Me? How? And why? He hates me. And I hate him" Madhu can't believe anything from what her mother say

"He doesn't hate you Madhu. He loves you a lot" Padmini

"Love me? Who did tell you so? Did he tell you that?" Madhu

"He said he has feeling for you" Padmini

"Feeling doesn't mean love. Hate is feeling" Madhu

"Come on Madhu. If he doesn't love you why would he propose to you" Padmini

"Mom please leave me alone" Madhu went to her room crying

After few hours of crying Madhu opened her room door and went to her mother to hug her and put her head on her mother shoulder

"I can't believe that mom. I always wanted to have love marriage like yours and papa. I wanted to be with the man I love. You believe in love mom don't you? Was I wrong all these year? Am I asking too much to be with the one I love?" Madhu crying

"No baby. You were not wrong. We all hope to be with the one we love. We all want love marriage. And if you marry Rishabh it will be love marriage too Padmini

"How? I don't love him" Madhu

"But he loves you Madhu" Padmini

"You are saying this mom. You who give up everything to be with the one you love" Madhu

"No Madhu I gave up everything to be with the one who loves me" Padmini

"What do you mean?" Madhu

"You know I was from rich family. And your papa was working for them" Padmini

"Yes I know. And you and papa loved each other's and get married against your family will" Madhu

"I wasn't in love with your father first. He loved me. Unconditional love. When I felt his love. I knew that with him I would be happy. He will do anything to make me happy. He will treat me the best. So I gave everything for his love. And I loved him back even more than he loves me. Do you understand what I want to tell you Madhu?" Padmini

"Yes mom" Madhu

"The best thing is to marry the one you love and he loves you. But if he doesn't love you it will be torture not happiness in this marriage. If you have to choose between whom you love and who loves you choose who loves you. Because with his love and his good treatment to you. You will love him back and you will got the best love marriage. But the one whom you love. You don't know if he will love you back or not. Or he will choose you or not. And you will live in fear if he find his love out of your marriage. You have to think well Madhu. I don't care that Rishabh is rich or he is great doctor or from powerful family. All I care about that he loves you. And he always there for you to support you. Do you know Madhu?" Padmini

"What mom?" Madhu

"He told me even if you refused to marry him. He will be there for you all his life to support you. As a friend and as a brother" Padmini

"What mom. Did he say that?" Madhu

"Yes Madhu. And he refused to bring his father and mother here before you give your approval. He doesn't want you to be under any pressure. He cares for you a lot Madhu" Padmini

"Ok mom" Madhu in low tone as if she surrender to her mother

"Ok what Madhu" Padmini

"I'll marry him" Madhu

"No Madhu think hard. It is not simple decision. You are choosing the man you will live all your life with him. Think hard with your mind and take your heart permission" Padmini

"If I think with my mind mom RK will win 100% he is good man loves me supports me handsome kind good doctor there are many good things about him. And my heart I don't trust it anymore" Madhu

"Why Madhu?" Padmini

"The one I thought he loves me all these years and I loved him back and dreamed about him turns out that he doesn't care about me at all. And the one I thought he hates me all these years and I hated him back. Turns out that he loves me. I don't know anything mom. My heart is blind. And I have to shut it down for big decision like this. I can't depend on it anymore" Madhu

"Madhu take your time my dear. If you can't accept Rishabh as your husband don't agree this marriage. You will spoil his life and yours. You have to be sure. If you accept this marriage there is no return" Padmini

"I'm sure of my decision mom" Madhu wiping out her tears

"I will not reply him now. I'll wait till tomorrow night. If you at the same decision I will tell him" Padmini

"Ok mom. I love you so much mom" Madhu

"I love you too Madhu. Stop crying and have your dinner" Padmini
