What a wonderful update Maria 👏👍🏼, I think this one is the best so far not that your previous ones weren't good, they were really very good, but this one is so special.
I don't even know where to start since many scenes were good and hearttouching and some other scenes were power packed and revealed new facets of characters' personalities, mainly Rudra's. And it also revealed something important: the bonds between characters, there are some special kind of bonds between characters!
I can't go through everything but I'll try to point out the things I most liked!
It was very very touching to see how much desperate Rudra was to revive his brother, begging him not to die since he needs him, asking for a chance to make it all better, yet he had that feeling inside that Rishaan/Adi is dying, what did that mean exactly?! is it a death of another kind I mean more than the clinical death, maybe he sensed the trauma his brother will be going through, you know a twins kind of thing, he doesn't know exactly what died, but we have an idea about what it might be! we all know how Rishaan/Adi felt in the last chapter when he got back the flashbacks he was running from, the person he loved most (Rudra) disowned him and what can be harder than a gentle soul like Adi!.
Rudra's emotions were described beautifully, I can't go through all of them to point out all the gestures and the non verbal things but when I was reading I felt his pain and it was very well portrayed.
The first hospital scene when he slumped down, feeling the ground slipping beneath his feet and
the world moving too fast around him, I could easily imagine it like a scene from some film where the lead feels swallowed by some storm and brought back to the past. That brings me to the beautiful scene of the brothers from their childhood, what an endearing relationship they both had! That brings me also to what I mentioned above about bonds, what a beautiful bond Adi and Rudra had!: a Teenager Rudra who still couldn't figure what happens to him but tired of visiting the shrink hence not telling his parents about his problem but his brother can witness it all, actually Rudra had no problem with Adi knowing all this, he just needed his silence, and Adi! what a loving and understanding brother, the patience and the way he calms his brother down, telling him that maybe they are the freaks and not him, he knows his brother very well and he feels he is a special person, so no question of his dear Rudra being a freak, the way he hands him over the glass of water and the way he makes him laugh mimicking Rose (Kate Winslet). So beautiful!. Rudra only could confide in his brother, and Adi knew how to console him and it was obvious how much he loved him and respected him. Two united brothers who can do anything for each other!
Obviously, and I insist on it once again, I loved the body language and how you described it (the temors going through his body, the lips quivering, running his hands in nervousness and frustartion over his face and hair, clenching his hand into a fist and biting on it, his bloodshot eyes...)
I also liked Rudra/Maya's phone conversation, it was short, there was silence more than words, just Rudra giving her the information about their whereabouts (the hospital's name), but I liked it, she didn't keep asking him questions, a simple "where are you" and a response to it and then she run there.
What followed was even better , Maya reaching the hospital , the way she run to him, the way he was ready to collapse in her arms. Finally he can let it all out, he can pour his heart out without caring of having that grip on himself anymore, her arms where his refuge, his haven! and what was also more beautiful is the fact that she felt what he was feeling inside and she run to him to save him! he hugged her tightly, her embrace soothed him, he somehow felt that if there is someone who can fix him then it's her! and he was right! The next scenes will tell a lot about not only her effect on him but also her ability to handle him like no one was able to do before!! she could feel his unbearable pain and she couldn't bear the pain of that unbearable pain of his!! add to that her concern for him when she saw his injury and also the blood stains covering his clothes and his hands, but it didn't help either when she came to know that they were Rishaan's!!!
I loved the way she was able to convince him though not without difficulty that his brother will survive. Rudra was so broken and he couldn't discard that feeling of Adi dying from his heart. I wonder once again if it was just the reflexion of Rudra's fear and his pessmistic nature or he was feeling that something will go wrong with Adi, afterall death isn't clinical only, it can be emotional or mental too!
Her body language was also spot on, I mean she is being expressive and even open, which is a hard thing for a once victim of rape, but here her heart and soul were guiding her so the rest came spontaneously! The chapter is indeed full of tender gestures!
I loved the way Rudra insisted on giving his blood to Adi, we can understand that he wants to make it up for him whichever way possible, he wants to do anything and everything for him, the way he said take all my blood proves it! but his injuries didnt make it possible and once again I loved how Maya handled him here despite his stubborness!
I loved the restroom scene, the way she grabbed him and dragged him there, made him see his face in the mirror, the way she wiped the blood from his face, the soft way she made him understand that she understands his pain, she had tears in her eyes and he had them too, each one can feel the other's pain. So endearing! the bonding is strong!. The way he voiced his fears again and the way she tried to gave him faith again!! and the way he wiped her tears too, she was nervous maybe in the positive way, she doesn't mind his touch I guess. It tells a lot, as I said she is a victim of rape and these victims can be vey sensitive and on the defensive but he is her soulmate, she trusts him even if she doesn't know who he is yet!
I also liked the way she made him drink the juice, she is quite good our Maya, trying to tame the untameable Rudra Kappor. Not bad Maya, not bad!, I know her intention was not taming him but just make him behave reasonably but we know he is overly overwhelmed by his emotions now, so the fact that she could finally get him to do the right thing is commendable!
Waise I liked their dialogues, yaar she doesn't blink, he doesn't intimidate her and she dares telling him what others can't, her dialogues with him were funny Karwatchauth...
The scene in the ICU was emotional, Rudra expressed his need for his brother, as usual he expresses his feelings blatantly, he said that he thought he was losing him but Maya said that Adi will survive and he wants to believe her.
Again I loved how she handled him and made him listen to her and go to have some sleep, when she told him that she mixed sleeping pills in his juice. She isn't afraid of him, he doesn't intimidate her, nice! made for each other couple, she is the only person who can handle him as I said 😆 not that our Rudra was easy to convince, he kept fighting but the poor guy was so weak physically and mentally for that nevertheless Rudra Kapoor is Rudra Kapoor not an easy man to deal with!
I liked the scene in his bedroom, it was the first time she sees his personal space, she must have now an idea about his dull life, I liked the way she cared for him and changed his bandage and also how she went to caress him spontaneously and subconsciously, when she realized what she was doing she pulled her hand away, obviously she doesn't know what he means to her yet, now he is family and she must be explaining her care for him that way only just the way she does with Rishaan, but deep inside she must be knowing that it's not the same thing and she has a very special bond with Rudra!
Maya's scene in ICU was good too, she went down the memory lane and remembered her journey with Adi, she still doesnt know that in fact he didn't lie to her about his name!! seems everything now makes sense to her and she is guilty for not understanding him better before and also for what happened to him for trying to help her. To be honest, I should get back to the first chapters which I read 2 years ago to fully understand this scene, many things will make more sense, my memory doesn't help much here now!
Now one of the scenes I loved so much is Rudra getting all dressed up to go and give some c degree treatment to Shaurya!! yaar I loved how you portrayed Rudra there, he went put his classy clothes aramse on the chair and started his torture, I'm not for violence but with Shaurya I loved him and I loved Rudra's dialogues. He was a treat to read 😆, his madness and his on the spot dialogues, the effect he had on Shaurya, shocking him with the past and yes Mr Shaurya, she said Rk will come back for you, she was right!! you were gloating before, thinking Rishaan is Rk but you were highly wrong!
I loved Rudra's dialogues so much!
Shaurya : "Well well... Rudra Kapoor... don't you put the 'criminal' in criminal lawyer?"
Rudra : "Oh... you have no idea..."
Shaurya : ""At least play fair... like men. Untie me... and we will see... who can really make the other bleed..."
Rudra :
"I don't play at all... I only win.""Besides,"... You are no man... you are still a pathetic little teenage pervert I met a long time ago..."
Rudra :
"Do not even think about her... or him... Or else... I will skin you alive... with the most blunt knife I can find and burn you limb... by limb..."And that's neither a threat nor a metaphor... I am a simple man...I don't believe in all that... I just tell what I will do."
I liked his scene with Inspector Agnihotri, his mannerism, his style, him talking and not looking at her being engrossed in dressing and washing his hands, his unconventional ways of dealing with cases, his self-confidence, determination, his intelligence, shrewdness, his ressourcefulness!! Woww! Well that's a MAN!!
P.S : Maria I forgot many things, you know, I might add them when I remember, all I know is this chapter was so beautiful, I liked so many things and I liked the bonds. I can't forget Meera and Viraj, this man loves her and for her sake he donated blood, stayed calm and was a real support system to her, very admirable!
