Rima Os - I have always loved you.

It was a park where everybody were playing and a small girl of 4 to 5 years was calling out for a boy saying "Rishu ...Rishu ...where are u? I am coming to catch u "and she started roaming the whole park but couldn't find him anywhere at last she gave up and said "Rishu see I gave up now u win but please come out" but there was no response . So she told " Rishu if don't come out now or else I will start crying, please ...please. ... come out" and saying this she started crying very badly . Suddenly a boy of the same age as the girl told to the girl "Madhu...Madhu please stop crying see I came na don't cry please..." The girl turned and saw her Rishu sitting next to her and she went near him and hugged him as tight as she could

and he reciprocated the same to her .She told " Please don't leave me alone like this alone next time or else I will start crying a lot and now only in this park u should promise to me that u will never leave me alone, Promise me..." she said holding out her pinky finger to him and he replied "Ok my cute Madhu , my doll , I promise that I will never ever leave u to be alone" and took out his pinky finger to her and joined it to hers . These both kids were none other than Rishab and Madhu. First when they met each other they used to always hate each other and when one day Madhu fell while running on the road Rishab saw her crying holding her knees and gave her his hand which she readily accepted and slowly after this incident they became friends and later became best of friends. Now they both study in the same school and always play together not letting anyone else to play with them. Years passed and both of them grew up with time and within these passing years Madhu started to develop special feelings for Rishab which went unnoticed by Rishab, he only thought Madhu as a best friend and nothing else and Madhu slowly started to realize that these special feelings were nothing but love. She thought that Rishu and she were just 10 years and if she confessed him that she loved him, he would just say it as a simple crush that everyone gets in this age . One day after talking with Rishu for a long time and playing with him she came back to home to see her both parents sitting happily. When she went near them and asked the reason for their happiness, they told that her father that is Shamsher Malik got transfer to Delhi as he was working in a bank and it was common for him to get transfer. When Madhu told her parents that she doesn't want to shift to Delhi and started crying, her parents pleaded her not to cry and told her that if they didnt shift to Delhi her father's work would go and they wont have anything to eat or sleep she understood them and went to rishabs house to tell him that she was going to shift to delhi within a week,.

When she told him this he started pleading her not to go and started crying also ... she couldnt do anything and told him " I, m sorry rishab but i have to shift to delhi and i have promised to my parents that i would be a good girl to them...and if my father doesnt have this job we will not have anything to eat or sleep . so i have come to say my gudbye to you.." Soon madhu shifted to delhi with her parents and here in mumbai rishab became a very silent child , he used to never talk to anyone and at night he would sit in bed room and used to always grieve remembering madhu. And one day rishabs father met with an accident and died. This made rishab even more introvert and he had no friends and after madhu left him his father was his only friend whom he could share his heart and cry his heart out remembering Madhu . But now even he was not their and he became depressed because of this and even forgot about madhu.

Time flew by and the two grew up away from each other. Its 8 years later now. Madhu's feeling for Rk had grown even deeper. On the other hand, Rk had changed completely. Not only had he forgotten about his childhood best friend, but also his attitude had changed. He had turned into a arrogant rich brat now, he only cared about himself. Over all these years, he had not even thought of Madhu for a single time. But Madhu had grown up looking at his pictures and dreaming about him in the nights.

She stood out of the airport and smiled hugging herself. She quickly got into a cab. Looking out of the window, she thought of Rishabh. It has been years since they met. She was finally going to meet him now. She was excited beyond limits. Since years, she had been yearning to see his face. Today was her day. She was sure Rishabh would be happy to see her. All these years, when she called him, his mother would always manage to make up an excuse and she could never talk to him. But today, no excuse could work. She smiled happily and closed her eyes. The city had changed a lot, but the air...it was still the air of her 10th year. She had faint memories of herself with Rishabh. And that itself made her happy.

Finally reaching Kundra mansion she got down of the cab. RK Mansion' was written on the name plate in bold outside the mansion. She scrunched her eyebrows. "According to me, 10 years ago it was Kundra Mansion, wasn't it? Am I in the wrong place?" She thought. "Hmm...Maybe I should just go check." She thought. Walking towards the door she rang the doorbell. After about a few minutes the door opened and Radha came outside. "M...Madhu?" She said in a shaky voice. Madhu smiled and hugged her. Pulling back she asked "How are you aunty?" She asked. "I am fine beta. Come inside." She said and Madhu walked inside. The mansion had changed completely. 8 years back everything was pleasant...light. But now, it seemed dark...and lonely. She looked at Radha who seemed to be uncomfortable. "Uh...aunty..how did you recognize me?" Madhu asked lightning her mood" Radha smiled and replied "You have been right here all your childhood Madhu. I was like your mother. And you expect me not to recognize you?" Madhu smiled at her as she sat on the couch. "Uh...Aunty...where is Rishu?" Madhu asked hesitantly. Radha's face suddenly fell which didn't go unnoticed by Madhu, but she didn't say anything. "Uh...actually he is out with his friends." Radha said honestly. Madhu smiled and just looked around. "Beta...how come you are here all of a sudden?" Radha asked while Madhu looked up. ?"Actually aunty I got admission in a college here, so I thought if I could stay here." Madhu replied. "Uh...sure beta." Radha said. "I will get something for you to eat." She said and walked away. Madhu looked at het, confused. "Why is Radha aunty being so strange? Is there something she is hiding?" Madhu thought. Just then someone walked in speaking on the phone. She looked up and found him standing there, near the door. She stared at him, his eyes were dark brown and daring. He had a well built muscular body and he looked mesmerizing. Suddenly he looked at Madhu and scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. Madhu smiled and got up. His confusion was clearly written over his face, but Madhu was too happy to notice that. She ran towards him and hugged him. He stiffened. Just then he pushed her away, anger could be seen on his face. "What the hell?" He shouted shocking Madhu. "Who the hell are you?" He asked looking at her. Madhu stayed quiet for a minute and then replied with a smile "It's me Rishu." Rk clenched his fist and gritting his teeth he replied "It's not Rishu. Its Rk...R.K." He said emphasizing his name. "And I don't know anyone named ME. So, wrong house I guess." He said with a smirk started walking away. "It's me Rishu. Madhu." She shouted. Rk stopped right in his tracks. He flinched and turned ion her direction. She had a beautiful smile on her face. He looked at her, she was wearing a pink salwar and her hair was neatly combed in a pony. He stared into her eyes. Suddenly he looked away and chuckled shocking her. "So...what are you doing here huh?" He asked smirking. Madhu looked at him with a puzzled face. "Arent you happy seeing me Rishu?" She asked. "Firstly, its Rk and not Rishu. And secondly, who will be happy to see a girl like you? Seriously, look at your clothes girl. You look like a blood villager." He said chuckling. She looked at him with tears in her eyes. Just then Radha came from behind and said "Rishu? Is that a way to talk to your friend?" She asked. Rk looked at his mom and said "Mom, she is not my friend." He said arrogantly and walked off. Madhu looked at him stunned. "Don't worry beta, he must be in a bad mood." Radha said wiping Madhu's tears. "I thought he would be happy to see me here." She said in a daze. "He is happy beta. Come I will take you to your room." She said and took Madhu to a room. Madhu sat on the bed and Radha left. Hot tears fell down on her cheeks. "How can he do this? He...he doesn't consider me as a friend anymore?" She thought and closed her eyes and fresh tears started escaping her eyes.

Radha knocked on her door and Madhu went to open it. "Come for dinner beta." She said with a pleasant smile. "I am not hungry aunty." Madhu said looking down. "Madhu you shouldn't skip food. Come." She said and dragged her down. Rk was already sitting on his chair. She looked at him but he was too busy with his mobile. Madhu sat on a seat but rk immediately said "That is dad's seat." He said without looking up. She quickly got up and sat on another seat "Where is uncle?" She asked. Rk looked up at her and replied with no emotion at all "He is dead." Saying this he left the room shocking Madhu. Madhu slowly turned towards Radha who chose it best to ignore.

Next day.

She walked down with her bag. "I am going to college aunty." She said and started waking. "Wait. Which college beta? You didn't tell me." Madhu smiled and replied "St Peters college aunty." Radha smiled and said "Rishu is in the same college beta. He will drop you." She said and Madhu's heart skipped a beat. Just then Rishabh walked down the stairs. "Rishu." Radha called out and Rishabh walked towards her without even looking at Madhu which made her feel terrible. "Take Madhu along with you. She is in the same college as you." Radha said. Rk looked at Madhu and replied "No ways mom. If I will take her with me, in the same car as mine, then my image will be spoiled. I cant afford to take her with me." He said and walked away in an attitude. Madhu looked at him with tears in his eyes. Before Radha could stop her she ran away.

She entered the college and all eyes were on her. Feeling uncomfortable, she adjusted her dupatta and started walking ignoring everyone. She could hear chuckles and giggles from behind her, and she very well knew that everyone was laughing at her. Suddenly she spotted Rishabh in a corner with his friends. She quickly ran upto him, hoping him to be her knight in shining armor. He looked at her raising his brow. "Thank god Rishu I found you. I was so scared. These people...they are just staring at me." She said looking back. His friends chuckled and so did he. "Who wont Madhubala? Look at your clothes...you look like a perfect behenji. And then you expect others not to stare? Wow!" He said chuckling and walked away along with his whole gang.

Here Madhu was telling to herself that "Maybe Rishu is still angry with you for leaving him alone all these years. So it will take time for him to cool down so wait for him to cool down, then he will talk with you properly ok". Saying this she went inside her class .Many of them were staring at her and few were chuckling but she ignored all of them and went and sat in the last bench .After few minutes the bell rang and all the students settled down in their places. Then she saw a boy sitting next to her. He was handsome and had chocolate brown eyes which could melt down anyone. He had well built body and his muscles could be seen through his shirt. Suddenly she saw him looking at her and telling hello. She also told hello and he introduced himself saying "Hi, my name is Karan .Are you a new student? He asked. In reply Madhu told "Hi, my name is Madhubala .I'm a new student." Karan told that even he was new student and he had joined just a few months before and asked Madhu " Friends?" by extending his arm .Madhu readily accepted his Friendship as she loved making friends and shook her hand with his. Soon Madhu and Karan started to talk about random things like their school, colleges and friends and Madhu didn't tell to Karan about Rishabh as her childhood friend.

It was a break for them so they both decided to go to the canteen .In the canteen they both sat in a corner table and Karan had gone to bring them their food. As she was thinking about her's and Rishu's childhood times , she was jerked off her thoughts when Karan came and handed over her food to her .She saw Rishu entering the canteen with his gang .When RK saw her sitting with Karan he became furious but he controlled himself. Here Madhu was staring at Rishu in a loving manner which Karan noticed but chose to ignore it.

Soon Madhu and Karan became good friends and later became best friends. Madhu tried various ways of asking Sorry to Rishabh but he totally ignored her. Today Madhu was going to tell Karan about Rishabh and tell that Rishabh was her childhood friend as Karan was her best friend. When Madhu and Karan were sitting in the canteen Madhu was staring at Rishu as it was her daily routine to stare at him and saw that he was busy talking with his gang and eating . Karan suddenly asked her "Madhu why do you always keep staring at Rk?" Madhu told him that " Karan I want to tell you something " when Karan asked her what she wants to tell, she told him she doesn't to tell him here but wants to tell him somewhere else .So after eating their lunch both went to the garden in their college.

Here someone was very angry seeing Madhu and Karan going out .it was none other than Rk. He was already jealous of the fact that Madhu made another best friend leaving him and he sees her every time with Karan. He tried to ignore Madhu a lot but couldn't .Today he was going to accept her sorry because she is everyday asking him sorry , so he thought to forgive her as it was not her mistake that she left him and went to Delhi and it was because of her father's transfer she had to leave him. But when he saw Madhu and Karan going out he got very angry but controlled himself and went to check on them but they were nowhere to be found. So he asked some of his friends where Karan went. They told him that he went to the garden with Madhu. So he went to the garden and the scene what he saw was shocking to him .He saw that his Madhu was hugging Karan. Seeing this he was way beyond furious and decided to go and pull Madhu from Karan but went against it and went away.

10 minutes before

Madhu and Karan came to the garden. Karan asked Madhu why she had called him to the garden and what she wanted to tell him .Madhu said "karan I'm sorry for telling you this late but today I wanted you to know the truth because you always see me staring Rishab na .So i will tell you why I keep staring at him" and she told him about how they both were childhood best friends and how she fell in love with him and how her father got transferred and she shifted to delhi leaving him. She also told him how rudely Rishabh behaves with her and how he keeps ignoring her and tells him that Rishabh doesn't even consider her as his friend. While saying this she was silently which was noticed by Karan who heart broke into pieces after hearing this. Today in the morning he was very happy that he was going to confess his love to her as he realized that he was in love with her a week before and was going to confess it but after hearing this his heart broke into pieces .He decided to forget his love for her as she only loved Rk and consoled her by hugging her.

After coming back from garden they both entered the class and sat together as both of them were sitting together .Madhu saw Rk staring at her as he was sitting in the next row and smiled at him but he turned his head to the other side after seeing her seeing him. In the night when Madhu was watching TV in her room she saw her phone ringing and saw it was Karan's and attended the call. Karan asked her how she was because she was very sad in the college and she told him that she was fine .Rk was going down to bring water for him when he saw Madhu's room opened and lights were on so he went there and saw whether she was sleeping or what when he peeped and saw that Madhu was talking with someone on her phone. He thought that she was talking to her parents but when he heard Madhu telling Karan's name, he became angry and went from there.

One day when Madhu and Karan were sitting in the canteen talking about random things , rk was staring at them . When Karan asked Madhu why Rk was staring at them , she just shrugged her shoulders and told that she doesn't know why. After coming back from canteen and when they were going inside the class Karan suddenly asked Madhu "Madhu when are you going to tell Rk that you love him?" Madhu replied to Karan "I don't know Karan how will I tell him that I love him . I'm really very scared to tell him because he has already told me that I'm not his friend . He has also humiliated me many times. Then how will I tell him Karan. What if he humiliates me again and laughs at me again. I don't have the courage to tell him Karan." But Karan told her that "If you have the courage then you can do anything Madhu and believe in your love for your Rishu . He will surely accept your love. " This made Madhu be strong about her love and decided to confess her love tomorrow itself to her Rishu. So she called Karan and told him that she was going to confess her love tomorrow to her Rishu.Karan encouraged her by saying that he will always support her in all her decisions. So the whole night Madhu couldn't sleep because she was thinking various ways and means to confess her love to Rishab. Finally she decided that she will just pour her heart to Rishab and confess her love to him.

So the next day came very do on and Madhu got ready in her best ever suit given by her mom on her last year birthday . She came early to the college and was waiting for her Rishab to come.Finally Rishab came and saw him with his friends. She went near him and told "Rishab I want to talk to you separately. " He in reply told her that " Oh my God Miss Behenji wants to talk with the great Rk. So miss Behenji can't you see I'm very busy now with my friends. What ever you want tell it here only because I don't like to waste my precious time on you Miss Behenji." Madhu controlled her tears which were trying to come out and told to herself "Madhu believe in your love. Believe in your love." She kept on saying this for three times in her mind . She then said Rishab " Rishu I'm sorry to waste your time but I just came here you to tell you that I... Love... You" and she left out a big sigh saying this. She was eagerly waiting for Rishab to tell something but he kept quiet and when she was going to tell something , he started laughing at her very badly and soon all his friends also started to join him laughing. After laughing for about 5 minutes he turned towards Madhu.He told " Everyone did you listen to what Miss Behenji told . She told that she loves Rk. I don't from where did you get the idea that Rk , the college heart throb will accept the love if you. Have you ever seen your self in the mirror? Did you ever ask anyone how do you look? I think your answer will be no. So let me tell you , you are a typical Behenji, you don't even know even the abc of makeup and you are proposing me. So sorry sweet heart but you should think twice before proposing Rk ."Madhu couldn't hold it anymore so she ran away from there letting her tears fall down .Suddenly she bumped into someone and that someone was no e other than Karan. She hugged him and burst out crying on his shoulder . Karan who witnessed the whole scene from where Madhu proposed Rk till she ran away from there came running behind her and suddenly bumped into her and saw that after seeing him she hugged and started crying on his shoulder. He felt really very bad for her was consoling her not to cry.

In the evening.

She walked inside the mansion. Rk was already sitting there in the living room sipping orange juice. He looked at her, but ignoring him completely she walked upstairs. He looked at her, shocked. Usually she would come back home and smile at him, but today she didn't even look at him. She looked tired and her eyes were swollen. He closed his eyes. He felt bad for hurting her. "Maybe I shouldn't have done that. Her condition is all because of me. Damn!" He said as he threw the glass.

She closed the door behind her and sat down on the floor. "Why God? Why? Why always me? What did I do?" she asked cupping her face. "I love him so much. Doesn't he love me too?" She thought as tears escaped her eyes. She closed her eyes as their childhood memories started playing infront of her eyes like a movie. She remembered that once they had made a promise to always be with each other. Tears made their way out her eyes as she thought of their promise.

The next day.

She stood outside the class waiting for Karan. It had become her habit now to wait for him. Finally she saw him walking towards her and she smiled lightly. He stood in front of her and said "I want to talk to you." Madhu nodded slightly. He held her hand and dragged her in an isolated corner. She looked at him with questioning eyes and he took a deep breath. "Madhu...I know this is too early. But I needed to say this. I don't know your answer. In fact it doesn't matter. But I just want to say this." He said. "Say what Karan?" Madhu asked confused. "Madhu I love you." He blurted. "What?" She asked shocked. "Madhu...I am sorry. I know its just too early. It was just yesterday when Rk rejected your love, and today. I...I know I am being too selfish. But...please try to understand Madhu" He said holding his head. "Karan...I..." Madhu was out of words.

Just then Rk came from behind and punched Karan. "Rk!" Madhu shouted. "What the hell do you think of yourself huh? She is mine! Only mine! Do you get it?" He asked holding Karan's collar. "RK please don't." Madhu said as she managed to get Karan out of Rk's hold. "Shut up Madhu. Just shut up. How can you do this? It was just yesterday that you proposed me, and today...you are with him?" He asked making a disgusted face. "No Rk." Madhu whispered with tears in her eyes. "Rk..you are getting it wrong." Karan said holding his nose. "Get the hell out of here Karan. This is between me and Madhu." He said looking at Karan. Karan looked at Madhu while she nodded and he left leaving them alone. "Rk. Trust me. I..I don't love him." She said cupping his face. "Don't Madhu." He said pushing away her hand. "I thought that I would apologize to you about yesterday. I thought that I had hurt you, but I was so wrong Madhu." He said running his fingers in his hair. "No Rk. Please listen to me." She said. "What Madhu? What should I listen? That karan has taken my lace in my heart? That you love him?" He asked furiously. "NO Rishu! I don't love him! Why don't you understand?" She yelled. He looked at her. "I don't love him Rk. He does. I love you...I have always loved you Rishu." She said with tears in her eyes. "I have loved you since childhood Rishu...but you...you never loved me." She said looking down as tears made their way out of her eyes. "I..I thought that you loved me too...but..I..I was mad to think so." She said laughing slightly. "I..I came back for you. I thought that you would be happy to see me back. But then...you had changed." She said sobbing and ran away from there leaving Rk shocked. He stood there for a minute realizing what had just happened. "Shit! What did I just do? She loves me. And I know that. But..she had loved me since forever?" God! I had been hurting her always. She never deserved this...this pain..this humiliation. But i..I was so busy in my own pains, that I had always been hurting her." He thought. "I will make it upto you Madhu. I promise." He said with a smile.

Madhu knocked on the door but then it opened by itself. She stepped inside. It was completely dark inside. "Shit" She muttered and immediately turned behind. She dashed into someone and lost her balance. But a strong muscular hold prevented her from falling down. "Rishu?" She asked. "Yeah." He said chuckling. How did you know?" He asked. "I can make out your touch Rishu." She said with a smile. He switched on the lights as he made her stand properly. The entire living room was decorated with balloons and flowers. She looked at him surprised. He held his ears in a cute way asking for forgiveness. "I am sorry." He whispered and Madhu had tears in her eyes. She smiled slightly as he proceeded towards her. "I am so sorry Madhu. I know what I did with you was wrong. I was a fool to have hurt you. I was just so engrossed in my own sorrows Madhu. Please forgive me." He said wiping her tears. She immediately hugged her and he hugged her back with a smile. "And I forgot to tell you something." He said parting away. "What?" She asked confused. He leaned towards her and whispered in her ear "I love you too." He said shocking her. She looked at her with eyes full of surprise. Madhu was completely smitten by his words. Everything seemed like a dream to her...a beautiful dream. She was shocked as well as pleased at the same time. "I really do. I know it would sound a lie. But..I was too angry. I was mad at you for leaving me alone. I was mad at you for going Madhu. I was left so alone Madhu. And then...when you came back...i poured all that anger out on you. I know I was wrong. Please forgive me Madhu. Please." He said cupping her face. "You...you loved me?" She asked in between her sobs. "Yes." He said as he gently kissed her forehead. "I thought you hated me." She said crying. "How can I hate you Madhu? I can never ever hate you." He said. She smiled slightly as she rested her forehead on his. He gently smiled and asked "You forgave me right?" He asked while she nodded smiling. "I was never angry." She whispered.

He cupped her face and she looked into her eyes. He gently placed his lips onto hers into a slow, gentle kiss. His hands reached upto her waist and she held his shoulder. He gently nibbled on her lower lip arousing her and she started kissing her back. The kiss soon turned into a passionate one. She ran her fingers through his thick hair as his hands roamed through her back. He gently bit her lower lip and she moaned. Taking the chance he slid his tongue inside her mouth, exploring her mouth with his tongue. Her hands gently combed through his hair bringing him even closer and his hands traced her back making her gasp. They slowly parted due to lack of breath. He looked at her with a naughty smile as she blushed. She immediately looked down and tried to run away but he held her hand and pulled her. She looked up at him and he caressed her face "I love you Rishu." She said looking at him. "And I have always loved you Madhu." He said with a wink making her blush.
