Sporting a sexy stubble, ripped jeans,
black tee and a cap, small screen
scorcher Vivian Dsena was at his
chilled out best, tucking into his
lunch, when Mirror met him on
Sunday. In the city to judge a
contest, the everyone's favourite
Rishabh Kundra aka RK (of
Madhubala) gave us a peek into his
world. "I cannot be fake. If I connect,
then I am all out, otherwise I will be
formal," said Vivian, whose played a
vampire in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani.
"There are a lot of talented
youngsters here and pretty good-
looking, too. They are very confident
which usually doesn't come at this
age," he said of Amdavadi talent.
'I AM MY OWN COMPETITOR'
"No, I don't keep a tab on fellow
actors. Sometimes when I ask about
someone signing a show, they say:
'That was two months ago!'" said
Vivian, adding "I am my competitor."
UNCONVENTIONAL GUY
"I don't look at things as people
would normally do. If I take up a
show, I think 'Does the show deserve
me and do I deserve the show?' So, I
look at it differently. Acting is an art
and I'm a self-trained actor; I'm still
learning," he said. So, he thinks
unconventionally. "People don't
realise that I've always been like this.
It is not after I portrayed a character
like that of RK," he said. Has he
faced criticism for being so chilled
out? "'Uska kuch nahi ho sakta', is
something I've always got to hear,"
he said.
'CRASH DIETING IS BULL****!'
"I play football for 330 minutes a
week. None of the gym-goers can
put in that much. It's about being fit,
not just making muscles. And crash
dieting is bull****," said Vivian, who
has an athlete for mother and a
footballer father.
SMALL SCREEN, SILVER SCREEN
All actors have their silver screen
dreams and roles. But Vivian is
"chilled out". "After Pyaar Kii... I
thought I'd graduate to films, but I
realised I still have to learn," he said.
Talking of compliments, the dashing
actor said beaming, "People say I
have act like Rajesh Khanna." A self-
confessed foodie, we realised Vivian
not only loves to gorge on food, but
enjoys feeding people when he
exclaimed pointing towards a
blueberry mousse he had got, "Aapko
khatam karein bina jaane nahi
doonga." We leave him " of course
after finishing the dessert " with his
fans.
