"Hey buddies!" "Oh Hi Sid.." said the whole gang of five simultaneously, still sitting at their places in the cafeteria which no one ever dared to take. It was as if they owned those places and if anyone even by mistake took them then the consenescence varied in different ranges. "Come sit.." said Varun pulling out the chair next to him. "No thanks, i am off anyway but just wanted you lot to know that our whole gang is meeting this weekend at my farmhouse ok?" he said with a smile "Sure we will come!" "Yep! It's gonna be a blast...we havn't had this type of outing since long anyway " added Deepali. "Great! I also managed to make Anurag agree!" "That must of been hard.." commented Ishika "Talk about it...you lot know he does not like all this partying and stuff.." "Seriously Anu should loosen up a bit...btw has he found a girlfriend yet?" asked Madhu. Everyone cracked up laughing. Sid, Maan, Madhu, Varun, Anu, Deepali and Ishika had all been friends since High School and also ended up going to the same college together. Maan and Madhu of course had bonded their friendship first with the others over time joining them. Even though Anu was their senior by 3 years he was one of them but now they only meet when the group would have planned an outing as Anu had already left college and was helping his Dad in business. He is completely opposite to his younger brother Sid who likes to party, have girl friends, not responsible where as he was a calm reserved person not liking to party or going out much nor to have girl friends, he was the responsible one not only at home but in their gang too. "Madhu forget girlfriend...and oh yes i don't know if he told you lot or not but his alliance is fixed.." "WHAT!?!" shouted everyone. Sid quickly sat on the chair which Varun had offered him and proceeded.. "Yep, just got the news yesterday...and guess what he agreed.." "You are kidding right" asked Maan. "Nope...apparently they had been searching for a bride since the last few months and i just got to know yesterday.." "And he didn't tell any of us?" asked Deepali slightly hurt. They all knew major and important things about each others lives and he didn't share such a big thing. "He didn't even tell his own brother leave you lot alone.." "But why?" asked Madhu and Varun at the same time. "He said he did want to tell us about it but Mom and Dad said he should keep it a secret until an alliance is fixed." "I always knew he would do a Arranged Marriage!" said Ishika as if she had hit a Jackpot. Everyone giggled as they all knew that he would go down this path. "Wait i am calling him.."said Madhu.. "Hi Madhu...you have college naa so why you calling me?" he asked. "Teri class toh mein baad mein lungi pehle yeh to bata humari hone wali Babhi kon hai?" she teased to which everyone laughed. "Arre kya Madhu..." she knew he blushing.. "Okay blush later tell us her name at least.." she continued "Achha Baba..her name is Trishna.." "Ayyeee hayyee Anurag ki Trishna" everyone again cracked up laughing. "okay byee people i have work, see you lot on the weekend." "Bye.." everyone said together and with that proceeded to their next classes.
"Madhu your driving me home; my car broke down." said Maan with full authority settling himself on the passenger seat. "And what makes you think i will drive you?" she asked raising an eyebrow. "Hmm...let me see...First i am your best buddy...so you should...second you are anyway going home to meet Mom so you might as well take me, and lastly i was the one who convinced Papa remember?" he finished with a smirk to which Madhu gave him a whatever' look and drove off.
"HAHAHA!! MAAN...no..No..Maan!!...Ahhh!!!" shrieked Madhu as she started running around in the front porch of Maan's house well mansion. "No...Ab ruk tu...abhi tujhe dekhata hu..."he said as he ran behind her with his water bottle. Who told her to empty out her bottle on him, well now here was coming his sweet revenge. "Ahhh No Maaan.." she continued screaming running into the mansion and into the kitchen where Maan's Mom was working and instructing a few servants. "Ahhh...Maan!! Madhu!! Stop it!!" she shrieked as they ran into the kitchen with Madhu garbing a hold of her shielding herself away from Maan. "Madhu tu toh aaj ghi!!" said Maan before a bowl full of flour was thrown onto his face by Madhu. Everyone stopped. Froze. Even the servants looked at his face trying to figure out if he was angry or not but was not clear due to the flour which covered his whole face. Madhu who could not hold it any longer burst out laughing breaking the silence to which him Mom to joined in and eventually all the servants as well.
Maan stood there glaring at them with angry eyes, especially at Madhu. Furiously throwing away the water bottle, which was still in his hand, onto the floor hard to let them know that he was pissed off and walked out of the kitchen. Everyone stoped laughing the minute they heard the bottle touch the hard tiles and watched him leave. Maan's Mom was about to follow him when Madhu stopped her. "Mom, you don't worry i'll see him, and you know your son naa? Gussa to naak pe charrah rehta hai.." she said with a pout as walked off, out the kitchen to find him. Navab zade or kidhar geh honge...room me hi honge apne..' she spoke to herself as she made her way upstairs towards his room.
The door of his room was unusually a bit open which never really happened before. His door was either fully closed or fully open but nerver slightly open as if waiting for someone. Ignoring the fact Madhu just stepped into the room opening the door fully and... SPLASH!!! The room echoed with Maan's laughter the very next second seeing the sight in front of him. Madhu, fully drenched, water droplets dripping off her shirt and running down along her exposed legs, with a bright red bucked on her head. He could guess that she was hell angry by her curled up fists but luckily he could not see her deadly glare which was hidden by the bucket.
Throwing the bucket off her head she shot him the deadliest glare she could manage but this made Maan laugh even harder. He was never serious when Madhu did that to him as he managed to get that stare quite often now, much to the fury of Madhu. Giving up with her glare which did not affect him in any way "Mooommm!" she whined stomping her foot on the ground and marching off downstairs, while he followed her.
"Mom! Look what your son has done to me!" she said pointed at a drenched self. "Haww...Maan yeh kya kiya tumne...Kyu usse paarshaan karte rehte ho?" "Mom...I actually wonder if I am even your son or not...you are always supporting her!" he faked. "Well Mom of course loves me more!!" she said sticking out her tongue at him. Maan's mom shook her head at them. If anybody had a glance of them they would think they are well matured young adults but she knew that they were not even ready to be called teenagers as they still behaved like kids. "You know what? You two keep fighting while i go and check if dinner is ready or not. And Madhu you're staying here tonight, i will let Daai Maa know.." she said walking off. Madhu and Maan were just too glad with the news. They loved spending as much time together as they could even if they left no stone unturned to annoy one another.
