@ Chakku you forgot to use the word brainless while describing JM. That is one of her most dominant characteristic.

Regarding the going out at night part, in an ideal world yes. But not in the current world. One has to be practical. In fact if a guy also goes out at the same time flaunting expensive accessories and gold ornaments he would end up getting robbed.. The simple funda is dont go around shouting : Aa bail mujhe maar 😆

👍🏼.
Nothing is left in the show to be saved. Only characters makes the show alive. None of the characters are working for me so the show is dead longtime ago.

I am watching this just for DVD as I liked them as a reel couple with good chemistry and acting in MB1. In MB 2, the story is lame and JM characterization is pathetic along with acting. I can connect to Raja character, tauji and even jeja character as he is villian. But do not like Phalguni ..
I do not say Raja's family is bad like JM and guess trp audience also do not feel. TRP audience see a lot of vamp families and plotting n planning against bahu daily basis. In that situation, I suppose they can not relate JM characterization who just insult her sasural with out much reasons. In the show, Raja's Tauiji and maiji was never shown as bad saas n sasurji. . They easily accepted her as bahu. Saas never behaved bad to JM as a typical Saasuma (for the audience who r watching many shows) About Agni and Jeja, they r shown as bad people, but not up to the standard of many TRP shows.
So for a general audience who watch MB do not feel Raja's family as bad people, but JM call them many names and insult them. Here JMs character not shown as a decent woman, but
A trp audience get impression about Jm as some one who is an uneducated woman from a low class family. It is CVs and Channel fault to show their female lead like that.
Even audience can not relate Phalguni character andfeel sympathy. They feel her situation is much better , but she against her sasural people in a situation her own family was not ready to accept her, sasural people do not giving all works of kitchen. So even JM side with phalgun and vice versa, general people can not support them, instead feel disgusting toward JM n Phalguni.

A Very Apt post ... and very well said ... 👍🏼

For me this show ended long back, when they assassinated d character of RK - post 7-pheras ... n now, from what I gather about d goings-on in d show, it should be ended asap ... For d sake of Vivian, I hope n pray that this farce ends now ... so that he can turn over a new leaf with a new team n a strong story n character ...

I really don't mind ABORTION😊 It is JM's right to decide whether she wants to keep the baby or not. But as much as it's her baby, it is Raja's baby also and she should atleast inform Raja before getting it aborted. She can very well take the protection of police and inform Raja about it infront of them or atleast talk to him and make him understand that she doesn't want the child and since he is guilty he will listen to her. But as usual she is being selfish and thinking about only HERSELF!

In short that's exactly what I meant to say 😆

I am so sorry but I disagree entirely with the portion in red. Does Raja being drunk change the fact that Madhu was raped? No! It doesn't change a thing. It doesn't make it any easier for her to accept and go through what she is going through. She was RAPED by her husband. She has every right to go for abortion. This is no different than a random guy on a street raping a girl. The fact that Madhu does not want to keep her baby does not make her uneducated or barbaric. What Raja did was inhumane. I don't care if he was drunk or drugged. There is no excuse for raping a woman. It is because people justify rape in such ways that rapist don't get punished and think it is okay to take advantage of women! I would like to flip this around on you. What if you were in Madhu's shoes? If you had a husband like Raja and he did this to you? Would you go on to love him or despise every single day for what he did to you? Again, I don't mean to offend you! This is something I feel very strongly about. I hate violence against women.

Kudos for explaining it so eloquently! Every reaction of Madhu's is so normal but people are equating them to their dislike of the actor not the character. It seems being a rapist ,albeit who's being portrayed by someone's favorite, makes it acceptable to be a rapist. A woman who has been violated the way Madhu has been will really not be able to focus on a baby as an innocent being because it will be a constant reminder of the most horrific incident of her life. And as an educated woman she may feel that she will not be able to love it the way any child deserves to be loved. Normal people do have normal reactions and why is it always expected of a woman to think of everything and everyone before herself?

Thank you! I am actually quite shocked. I thought everyone would support or understand Madhu. No woman asks to be raped. I am just appalled how the creators of this show have made rape so trivial. They end up showing make Madhu and Raja falling in love. I don't think this is the type of message that needs to be sent to the masses. Regardless of how much you "love" someone, if they don't want to be physically intimate with you then you need to understand and respect that! You don't force yourself on them to prove to others that you are a "man!" In fact by forcing yourself upon a woman or someone weaker than you, you prove to be the exact opposite of a "man." Not sure why being a "man" is considered good while being a "woman" is considered bad. How about we stop being "a man" or "like a women" and just be good human beings!
