What in the world are the writers and other creative directors of this show high on? I’m not asking this metaphorically but seriously.
Because nothing else explains how they do not realise the era it is now or more importantly remember the basic plot points of the show from season one. As if messing up the timeline and making it confusing and vague isn’t enough.
I ask this question because how in the world is Mihir now so much into matchmaking, that he has forgotten not only common sense, decency but also the convoluted history of his own life and beyond that his family’s?
Mihir just advised his friend to pursue his one-sided love with sheer determination and grit to the point where gods and goddesses will themselves turn his fortune and grant him his heart’s desire making the object of his affection change her mind and heart as it settles on him forever.
History says hello, Mihir!
Even if he forgets the fact that it’s 2025, (because probably the creatives themselves are not sure what year the show is set in atm), where consent, stalking and harassing a woman or a man, chasing after someone unavailable who doesn’t want you are all serious red flags that people are at least now talking about, did he forget history - his own and that of his son?!!
Mihir, what in the world can prompt you to give the most moronic advice in the world to someone when you know it’s not applicable irl. Have you forgotten the troubles that Payal, Mandira especially and later Meera caused you? Or maybe you forgot that when your own son outdid these women, he was literally shot and killed by the woman you are married to, his own mother!
Not only is Mihir giving the worst possible advise possible to anyone, but he’s doing so at the cost of common sense, decency, history and a complete disregard for the wishes and desires of another human being.
Did Payal or Meera change his mind? Mandira even got pregnant and had his kid but did he fall madly in love with her and ditched Tulsi like she’s yesterday’s newspaper? Did he find their attention suffocating or satisfying, desirable even?
Did his son manage to turn the tides in his favour and get the woman he duped into marrying him to love him by being obsessed with her?
Mihir has 4 prominent examples of failures in front of him and yet he’s setting up his friend for the same fate. Worse, Mihir has the firsthand personal experience of what it is like to find someone chasing after you when you’re not the least bit interested in them and how it wrecks your life, peace of mind and relationships and yet he wants to inflict it on someone else.
It’s one thing that we know Noyna belongs to the same lot of trash that the aforementioned women did, but if this wasn’t the case, Mihir was going to turn out to be the worst possible friend anyone can ask for!
At this point ironically and absurdly the only silver lining of this absolute buffoonery seems to be the fact that Mihir’s illogical and horrible advice will come to bite him in the a$$!
The question is will that teach him to keep his mouth shut? Truth be told, I’m not hopeful.
Sigh, here’s hoping Tulsi has something to help her deal with the migraines coming her way as she inevitably ends up being the collateral on a collision course, AGAIN.
