What in the world are the writers and other creative directors of this show high on? I’m not asking this metaphorically but seriously.

Because nothing else explains how they do not realise the era it is now or more importantly remember the basic plot points of the show from season one. As if messing up the timeline and making it confusing and vague isn’t enough.

I ask this question because how in the world is Mihir now so much into matchmaking, that he has forgotten not only common sense, decency but also the convoluted history of his own life and beyond that his family’s?

Mihir just advised his friend to pursue his one-sided love with sheer determination and grit to the point where gods and goddesses will themselves turn his fortune and grant him his heart’s desire making the object of his affection change her mind and heart as it settles on him forever.

History says hello, Mihir!

Even if he forgets the fact that it’s 2025, (because probably the creatives themselves are not sure what year the show is set in atm), where consent, stalking and harassing a woman or a man, chasing after someone unavailable who doesn’t want you are all serious red flags that people are at least now talking about, did he forget history - his own and that of his son?!!

Mihir, what in the world can prompt you to give the most moronic advice in the world to someone when you know it’s not applicable irl. Have you forgotten the troubles that Payal, Mandira especially and later Meera caused you? Or maybe you forgot that when your own son outdid these women, he was literally shot and killed by the woman you are married to, his own mother!

Not only is Mihir giving the worst possible advise possible to anyone, but he’s doing so at the cost of common sense, decency, history and a complete disregard for the wishes and desires of another human being.

Did Payal or Meera change his mind? Mandira even got pregnant and had his kid but did he fall madly in love with her and ditched Tulsi like she’s yesterday’s newspaper? Did he find their attention suffocating or satisfying, desirable even?

Did his son manage to turn the tides in his favour and get the woman he duped into marrying him to love him by being obsessed with her?

Mihir has 4 prominent examples of failures in front of him and yet he’s setting up his friend for the same fate. Worse, Mihir has the firsthand personal experience of what it is like to find someone chasing after you when you’re not the least bit interested in them and how it wrecks your life, peace of mind and relationships and yet he wants to inflict it on someone else.

It’s one thing that we know Noyna belongs to the same lot of trash that the aforementioned women did, but if this wasn’t the case, Mihir was going to turn out to be the worst possible friend anyone can ask for!

At this point ironically and absurdly the only silver lining of this absolute buffoonery seems to be the fact that Mihir’s illogical and horrible advice will come to bite him in the a$$!

The question is will that teach him to keep his mouth shut? Truth be told, I’m not hopeful.

Sigh, here’s hoping Tulsi has something to help her deal with the migraines coming her way as she inevitably ends up being the collateral on a collision course, AGAIN.

The fact that he has learnt nothing from his experience nor has he changed one bit, makes it more appalling and idiotic. Like sudarthe nahi hai kya ? Even kids learn not to touch fire after being burned once. Yeh kis kism ki dheet insaan hai samaj mein nahi aatha smiley29

I wonder if he probably enjoys the whole creepy, some idiotic, crazy woman is obsessed with him thing now a little too much and doesn’t know how to handle life unless he’s got at least one crazy stalker in his life.

Because nothing else explains his behaviour.

Stockholm Syndrome at its finest 😌 he loves being the object of at least one woman's obsession until it gets to be too much for him, and lo behold, it's Tulsi Devi rescuing him from yet another unholy mess. smiley17

IKR.

At some point if they manage to get ALL the women who have been obsessed with Mihir together and show the second wives of the other Virani Men while they all are throwing shade at each other and discussing how their plans have consistently failed and they better unite to bump off Tulsi it will be hilarious. Imagine a room full of Payal, Mandira, Meera, Noynw, Trupti, Tanya, add Mohini, even Pari though she’s the supposed daughter of the family and any other characters you can think of it might just be the most hilarious parody ever. Better yet, they should do it in Shanti Niketan itself so someone is eavesdropping and giving one of those signature reaction shots.

It's like the many wives of Patrick, except in this case it will be many women obsessed with Mihir Virani lol smiley37 at one point they all might even shake their heads in exasperation, seeing Mihir's idiocy never changing, time after time. smiley39

I think Payal was more obsessed with Virani family name coz after Mihir's rejection she went for Hemant.. And later married an oldie richie rich .. She wanted money and power..

Also later on she became fond of Shobha so she might not join that team but Juhi Thakral will be there I guess 😂

I just had the crazy thought that if this had been a show where Mihir wilfully cheats on Tulsi, repeatedly, with different women and one fine day ALL the women learn about how he’s been cheating on them and has been fooling them, it would have been even better and perhaps even hilarious to see how ALL the women gang up together to teach him a lesson of a lifetime. Would have been a far better show perhaps than to show he’s such a catch that even as a grandfather he has women who would chase after him.

Alas… we have to have lots of bawling Tulsi for the TRPs…. Because heaven forbid if an Indian TV show can work without the main leading lady having to cry her heart out almost every week.

Yeah, I think with Payal the rejection of Mihir was not as hurtful as the fact that he rejected her on the basis of also having judged her as being someone who wouldn’t make a good “bahu” for the family. So she wanted to prove herself as more than capable of being their bahu hence her track with Hemant.

Payal did enjoy the prospect of Tulsi being humiliated when it seemed that Mihir might dump her to marry Mandira. I know she has a change of heart later on thanks to Shobha, but the baffling beauty of Indian TV is… they take a thing called character development and then totally forget all about it as they toss it into the trash can at a moment’s notice without any hesitation or concern. So never say never.

Completely agree with you especially on the last part .. Character development in ITV takes months and then goes down the drain in just one episode for most silly stupid reason .. And this thing nowadays applies mostly for ML .. All FLs are Devi n MLs are no less than villain
