@nyasa please tell me one thing where would Phalguni have gone aftet her parents threw her out? To a brothel? She is a totally uneducated woman and is qualified for doing nothing except actually being a bai.

she has been born and brought up in a small village where every unprotected woman is fair play. Thr condition is very bad in the so called mahila ashrams and shelters also.

There is no woman empowerment without education. 5 days ago my neighbour's daughter whom I knew since childhood committed suicide. Her inlaws wete ill treating her and parents werr more concerned about the society. She was not qualified enough to support herself

its about convenience, fear and power

phalguni - i dont agree with her, but she has lived as a widow for 13 yrs and so someone else becoming a widow is the only part she can connect to maybe.

when her husband died she might have not even known how she would be treated by her in laws...she could have run away instead of coming back but maybe she feared she wouldnt survive coz she had no money or education.

she chose convenience and fear.

raja - i agree that he wants his parents' murderers killed. he should have called the police as JM said but, he has been born and brought up in a place where people are killed in split seconds every second day and its no big deal for him. he thinks its his right to kill someone who killed his parents. fair enough if u see from where he comes. he is fearless and carries no guilt whatsoever about murdering people.

he chose convenience and power.
