CHAPTER 3: I never knew that my dreams are going to be crushed by a sudden incident...I had no idea what to do ? which made things change upside down.

ria stopped the car suddenly as her curiosity has been raised to peak now. rk eyes welled up. ria who was in urge failed to wait for his reply ...as she started questioning him

"what happened rk? "

"did you propose her?"

"what is that incident...you said it changed your life upside down? that much serious incident ??"

rk saw straight into ria's eye's , her urge to know was clearly visible in her eyes.

he continued...

The day was special for me and madhu ...i was preparing myself by taking a small practice in front of my mirror. I prepared some dialog's to impress my love while i propose her. suddenly i was over whelmed with joy when i received madhu's call. she invited me for her birthday party even though shamsher uncle has already invited me a day before. something i felt special on that day since madhu personally invited me for her birthday party. hence, I decided to make her day more special as i could.

I brought a platinum ring specially for her written with two hearts ...symbolically representing her to "marry me".

I drove of my car to shamsher uncle's mansion...when i was only few distance away from shamsher's mansion...i mean on the way...i felt something nervous and some kind of bad instincts .my heart started to beat as fast as it could while i was nearing the mansion. but somehow i managed to keep myself calm and i recollected the words to be spoken with my madhu while i propose her.

I was bit late .the function had started already ... i entered the hall ,the clap sound echoed on my ears. my vision was not clear since i was far from the stage but some how i managed to hear shamsher addressing the guest . i moved forward hoping everything would be fine soon, even though my heart started to throb.

my eyes started hunting for my angel .finally i met her and was little surprised that her eyes was already registered on me.

I was bit nervous yet i managed to smile at my love. she was merely like an angel from heaven ...simply dressed yet something precious ...her glossy lips, pearl teeths, added a flavour to her beauty.

our eye lock lasted until shamsher let out his next statement. suddenly everything changed upside down while he announced his daughter madhu's engagement which is going to take place on the same day. I was shocked ...it took seconds for me to realize that shamsher uncle has decided to engage madhu with a business man namely "MUKUNDH". It took even minutes for me to even understand the announcement completely . my vision was totally blur.

lot of questions, pain of losing my love came running into my mind...i stood speachless watching my madhu while my eyes welled up. I stood helpless in front of my madhu expecting her to reveal her love.

everything collapsed in a second coz of an announcement, my joy, my love everything has been crushed into pieces.

shamsher uncle held madhu's hand forward while mukundh inserted the engagement ring into her soft fingers. her eyes was completely locked with mines. I watched helplessly at her begging her to stop the engagement and expecting her to share my pain by accepting my love.

but,

The fresh tears again filled up rk's eyes...ria was completely froze. she had no questions this time .she was able to feel his pain. she waited for him to continue futher.

I was helplessly keep on staring at my madhu, but she ran away upstairs leaving me behind in the party hall.

I lost my patience after 15 minutes waiting for her to return. I quit the party and came out of shamsher's house ,my temper rose as tears rushed out of my eyes.

I was terribly angry when i started driving my car, It was the longest journey which i made in my life in fact, thinking a lot about the things that happened and happening around me.

many questions came running into my mind, If madhu have wished she should have stopped the engagement?

my heart completely insisted that she should have not done this to me? why me? first of all Did she love me?

If she was not in love with me, why should she call me for parties, beach etc... our eye locks and her blush at the party is everything fake?

If she doesn't love me why should she insist every time that "rk i enjoy ur company completely" what does that sentence mean?

even she was starting at me before her engagement and while getting engaged, but after getting engaged, why did she ran of upstairs? without stopping it, does she agree with her father's decision of marrying mukundh?

why this? why that? so many questions came running into my mind .after thinking for hours .I decided ,if madhu loves me and her love is true then she should approach me.

I patiently waited for a day expecting my madhu's call. but unfortunately my expectations have been crushed.

my temper rose to peak , my anger grew as wilder as it could. I was about to shout at madhu but shamsher uncles face and his good deeds which came running into my memory .

I smashed all the things around me just like a mental, my head ache became severe , my mind was out of my control and finally what i remember is ,I made a cut in my hand with a huge glass piece and blood came oozing out of my flesh ,after that i don't remember what happened coz i got collapsed on the floor.

A day later, i saw myself restlessly lying on the hospital bed and bittooji was sitting beside me.

bittooji he's my assistant and gud friend of me ria. I met him before 4 years in my dad's funeral ...he told me that his dad was working under my dad, and so i appointed him as my assistant. naturally he became my good friend too.

I questioned him what happened? and how i came here to clarify all doubts he patiently answered all my questions .

he told that he came to meet me to get signed in an important file, but he was shocked on seeing, me lying unconsciously on the floor between completely messed up things .with a help of the ambulance finally he admitted me in the hospital in fact , he was the person who saved me by giving his own blood, since lot of the blood has been exhausted from my body due to the cut in my hand.

After that i was in a complete bed rest for two days, lying in the bed staring at my mobile screen waiting for her call. days passed but she dint turn up. my anger completely turned over her for cheating me.

I packed my stuffs and came to nainital leaving behind the memories of madhu . days rolled on and years passed , i never met her, infact i don't know where she is? and how is she ? i don't know anything about her. All i had was her memories that stayed fresh in my mind forever.

I even thought she would have been married to mukundh, I was trying to erase her memories and my love but still her memories stayed fresh in my mind. rk wiped off his tears.

I even learnt forgetting someone you love is just lik trying to remember a person whom u have never met.

ria was confused. she was about to question him while rk interrupted.

precap: we finally met after 2 years...

ria looked straight into his eyes, but this time he had no tears to wipe off instead his lips made a cute curve.

hey guys sry for the late update, but i promise you all that ill be regular from now and ill be finishing it off in three to four updates.
