Just answer one question: Would GU have accepted it if it was unfair? He knows what he is doing. Respect his judgement. He is not being forced to do anything.

Regarding the balance cast, yes it is tragic and sad but not unfair.There is a difference. Here it a question of project viability.

What about the scores of technicians and other people employed in NF? Their families and children. What about the bankers and investors? Would it be fair to them if the company went down?

What about Viacom 18 and its investors? What about ts employees and their families? What about their loss of pay and bonus due to the losses incurred?

Just think. There are two sides of every coin. You are looking at it only from the perspective of GU and the new cast.

Everyone has the right to make the best possible effort to 'survive'. You cannot blame them for it.

Superb post, Shruti.
It is a business.
Any channel can take loss-making decisions for longer since the owners of the channel and the decisionmakers are not usually the same.
But in a PH, the owners are usually the decisionmakers.
When it's your own business that may face loss every week, and your own money that is lost, then the thought of giving time for the sake of someone else's feelings is practically insensible.
The entertainment industry offers a huge amount of income-opportunity. But the high and increased payscale of extremely popular lead actors (such as DVD) is given not as charity but because people with over 20+ years of experience consider spending their money to back that expense daily is a worthwhile investment.
They will not take a loss to permit undeservedly high payscale to any participant of a series or show if they are not very reasonably sure that it's worth it.
We may consider if we would give time if every day costs us money. And if we would not, then we can hardly expect businesspeople to endure losses for our preferences.
It would be like telling a shopkeeper to stock up on a product in bulk at his expense since you want to just look at it. But you won't buy it in enough numbers, and if too much of it doesn't get sold, he takes the loss. No businessman - whether a producer or shareholder - may be expected to actually do such a thing and swallow the loss while the opiniongivers own money remains safe. We risk our opinions, not our own money or our livelihood. So the one whose money and livelihood is on the line may be expected to consider that as rather more important.
Abhinav Shukla and the sponsors are taking a direct hit or loss on their own money for their every decision. They may rightly consider that first, in the interest of all their dependents.

ffrankly it is business i totally agree with that ...People just see VD article ...then figure out...

Media people just wanted to have gossips and they are getting and utilising that, In various serials the articles and spoilers have gone wrong...

friends still VD has not started his role and it has to and the result is to take trps near to serial like DABH...the real reason that DABH,JA,saath nibhana saathiya is till topping the charts becos of the story...as we people watch this story and keep supportin that since it started...

I really forgot to ask onething...If the chemistry of DVD is awesome and why did the trps fell from its peak after their marriage and eventhough VD got two different roles(RK andKRK)? and in other shows like DABH the lead pair is still the same and it rocks well and tops the chart...Why this MB! with rishabala didnt top the charts? see the ratings btw other shows and MB, compare it...

first all the vdians answer this...and then stat bashing others...

Agree he should quit he was offered something else under ST and now under AS the rules have changed someone else is coming Vivian to be the lead male and Gunjan is only supporting, similar to how Sultan supported during the love triangle the show. But was not appreciated by everyone on this forum, instead he was abused. Now with Gunjan here are saying its because of Vivian that the show TRP will rise but that is not the whole truth, the truth is the love triangle will increase viewers interest in the show. So we are saying as Gunjan's fans if he is offered a lead role and TRP is increasing steadily by 0.1 each week it's good enough. Not for him to take a supporting role to prop up RK, because Vivian is saying it's his show in the recent Times of India article no-one needs to support him, let him provide the TRP himself.

Gunjan's role now is to prop up you know RK.

Sultan during his six months was doing exactly that for this show, after his exit the TRP went lower and lower and they in this forum blamed the negativity of the track but no it was because the viewers were not seeing any excitement of the love triangle, here AS is doing the same to prop up the show. Gunjan will be love sick watching new Rishbala under his roof as mentally challenged RK has been made his brother after the wedding he will bring her to the AK mansion and Gunjan's character watching them getting love sick as Madhu is getting closer to mentally challenged RK, feeding him looking after him. Without Gunjans character what do we have it would be Rishbala as they were after Sultan's exit with nobody to give that extra something for the viewers to watch the show and stay interested.

So his efforts in doing that propping won't be appreciated just like Sultan wasn't, so yes he should quit and let them do their own thing and see the viewers just like post Sultan won't stay interested after the first week of new RK's entry. aFter Sultan left we had Amar Behl producer's fight, heroine track, Riya track and KRK all with TRP going down viewers were no longer appreciating only Rishbala alone on screen with the other supporting characters, the intense drama of the love triangle was gone when Sultan was killed.

The forum here abused Sultan not realising what his doing for the show. So that's why Gunjan should quit because you don't realise anything, hopefully what I have said today will make you realise this, if not if Gunjan was to listen to his fans and quit then you will realise it.
